We've known for a while that climate change would increase disease.
Here’s the gist of a recent IPCC report: species extinction, more widespread disease, unlivable heat, ecosystem collapse, cities menaced by rising seas --these and other devastating climate impacts are accelerating and bound to become painfully obvious before a child born today turns 30.
And still we dither.
The Earth has said "enough is enough" and is sending in the viruses to cleanse the planet of all the life-forms that have polluted it. There will be no outrunning or out smarting the germs...

One easy step we could all take right now is to stop eating animal products: meat, dairy, and eggs. Because raising animals to eat them or their products is major contributor to global warming, emitting huge amounts of greenhouse gasses — estimates vary from 18% to 51% of total GHG.
There are other problems with animal agriculture, which include that it’s environmentally degrading and it’s unsustainable, requiring vast amounts of land and water. And animal products aren’t even healthy for us!
And still we dither.
