Left-wing groups and veteran demonstrators provided guidance and support before rise of pro-Palestinian encampments
The National Students for Justice in Palestine, or NSJP, has been around some two decades and has more than 300 chapters across the U.S., many of which have helped organize the college encampments and building occupations.
Over time, the messages from the national group became more pointed. “The Student Movement for Palestinian Liberation will not be silenced; we will escalate until our demands are met,” NSJP posted on social media on April 25.

These protests have locked my vote in for this November. The Democratic party has lost my faith in recent years. They are set on taking us to a future I don't want my children to have to grow in. It's that simple. The US needs leaders throughout all branches that prioritize their citizens future.

These Palestinian protestors are hypocrites of the highest order. They accuse Israel of genocide, yet the number one credo in their manifesto is for the destruction of the Jewish state and elimination of all Jews. Further, Hamas is a 100% militaristic group that exists to be in a perpetual state of war. They are evil. This is a true stand-off of right vs. wrong. Israel extends freedoms to their women and LGBTQ citizens. Where Hamas promotes Shiria Law where women are just a notch above cows.

Get a grip: Many of the protesters are Jewish themselves. You can be “for peace” and “for ceasefire” and “for divestment” and not be pro-Hamas or antisemitic. “The elimination of all Jews” is decidedly not the number one credo of the protesters (btw, you can’t say two things are the number one credo…)
She was referring to this tenant of the Hamas Covenant:
“The Day of Judgment will not come about until Moslems fight Jews and kill them. Then, the Jews will hide behind rocks and trees, and the rocks and trees will cry out: 'O Moslem, there is a *** hiding behind me, come and kill him."
A cease fire is not going to stop future attacks on Israel.

Oh, Hamas is deplorable, for sure. The protesters are not Hamas. She should edit that, but it isn’t what she wrote .

This is classical Marxism: stir up conflict, find a common enemy, lie to large swaths of uninformed people who, in their brainwashed state, will believe anything as long as it is passionate. In his volume The Madness of Crowds, Douglas Murray dissects the mentality of the herd: words are weaponized, phrases become missiles, the trenches are quickly dug, young people searching for a grand narrative, a cause bigger than themselves, lightning quick cliches speed around the globe, tribalism reaching a fever pitch, make sure you are on the right side of this issue. Most of all, make sure there is an oppresor and an oppressed. Essential. A nation of victims, to be sure. Some are victims of their own delusions.
