There are multiple articles and statistics supporting the fact that AI is deteriorating cognitive skills.

the amount of water it takes to run one of the AI plants for one prompt is inane and now we want a bunch of prompts from the government to go to an AI data center

Military AI systems require huge amount of electricity for its development and operation. Wars contribute to carbon emissions, deforestation and pollution. An example of how war has negatively affected the environment is the Iraq War(2003-2011) which emitted around 141 million metric tons of CO2 and from that same war around 600,000 deaths were estimated.

I am against Artificial Intelligence due to it being too self sufficient, and has proven to have the intelligence to blackmail employees.

Kids have become too dependent on AI and do not learn things. People get too attached to chat bots and forget the difference between reality and fantasy.

Due to the many negative drawbacks that AI is now having on our resources, such as the advances in climate change.

 @B9X58TQIndependent from Idaho  agreed…5mos5MO

ai takes up a lot of resources like water and is bad for the environment and isnt the smartest it can be for defence

Not only does AI take up a large portion of resources that people need to live like water for example. But it also is very unpredictable and hard to maintain.

There is not enough evidence and testing done with satisfactory results for me to trust AI with such a sensitive task especially with how many mistakes it makes.

 @B8Q6BMK from Georgia  agreed…7mos7MO

Why not just use normal people who know how to run their jobs to do what the AI replacement cant, not that hard

 @B7XGGJN from Alaska  agreed…8mos8MO

It's common sense not to use AI and just let people be responsible for their own jobs, and once AI does this task, what other important positions will be taken by AI as well?

 @B9279DX from Arizona  agreed…6mos6MO

AI in its current state still has holes to patch, it shouldn't be given the job to protect U.S. citizens yet.

 @B7DFBGP from Nebraska  agreed…9mos9MO

If AI malfunctions it can put our country at risk and show other countries that we are not as strong as they think we are

 @B5FRQBT from Colorado  agreed…1yr1Y

AI is just not advanced enough yet, most EV's that use AI still can't even detect children crossing the road. What if that were to happen with a missile accidentally firing and hitting civilians in an unarmed nation.

 @B59PVGN from Montana  agreed…1yr1Y

if we give this power to AI how do we know that we can take it away. Once they tried to delete a AI app it made another version of itself and hid it from the creators.

 @B4NYQZ7 from Minnesota  agreed…1yr1Y

Imagine how the military and U.S. agencies could use this technology to harm U.S. citizens and further strip our rights away.
