The Senate Intelligence Committee investigated the charge that Jill Stein has "Russian connections" for three years, and found no evidence to support the claim. There is one picture, not "tons of pictures," showing her sitting at the same table with Putin at a gathering of public figures from all over the world. Putin sat there for five minutes before he got up to make a speech welcoming the crowd. He and Dr. Stein did not converse, since she speaks no Russian and he speaks no English. When she had a brief meeting with him later in her one and only trip to Moscow, she urged him to seek peaceful solutions to the international challenges the US is posing to Russia. As for "Russian twitter bots," the Mueller investigation found no evidence of any significant Russian activity related to the 2016 election on Twitter, or anywhere else. On the question of "taking votes away from the Democratic Party," I, as a Green, find the DP, like the GOP, has little to recommend it to me. Furthermore, the abstention rate in US elections (potential voters who don't vote) in US elections runs from 50-35 percent, meaning that it's the Democrats' failure to inspire those voters, rather than the unfortunately small percentage of us who vote Green, that cost them the 2016 and 2000 elections (abstention rate then was 50%). In summary, none of your objections have any merit.
