Yes the government should only recognize two biological genders because that is what someone is always born as and scientifically possible. People who identify as something else don't have anything else better to do than to mingle over their pronouns, it's stupid that we have come so far into society and ask ourselves how many genders there are. People who identify as something else have artificial surgeries done and things that shouldn't be promoted to our youth. Therefore, I believe there are only 2 genders, male and female, which you are assigned to at birth.

Not true, there's such a thing as intersex which is people born with ambiguous genitalia and chromosomes that aren't xx or xy. They are, biologically speaking, not female nor male.

While that may be technically true, you're missing the point of the question. The question could easily be edited to include 3, maybe even 4 biological sexes. The main contention is whether or not biological sex is related to objective reality.

Even if you disagree with genders, intersex people still exist who are born that way.

Sexual characteristics are not as simple as "XX/vagina" and "XY/penis," unlike the oversimplified explanation many are given.

This isn't even getting into gender identity, which is not synonymous with sex assigned at birth.
