Gun violence is insanely out of control in our country

Look at European countries violent crime rates in comparison to the United States. Gun violence is a national emergency, and we need to increase restrictions including background checks and psych evaluations to purchase a firearm. There is also no need for the average American to be able to own an assault rifle.

Banning guns doesn't stop people from getting guns through the black market. Good guys need to have guns to stop the bad guys.

We already have the guns and the evil will always find a way to get them, might as well protect ourselves from evil. Also in a family like mine hunting is how we get our meat for the winter.

I 100% agree with this. Other countries have more gun regulation laws than the United States, and it is factual that they have significantly fewer shootings and lower violent crime rates.
