If the electoral college were abolished, EVERY vote would count. Including red votes in historically blue states.

I feel this would still be a net negative, due to the fact that the electoral college helps with maintaining priorities on smaller states, who would otherwise be ignored due to not having enough population to be considered necessary for victory, aginst the more populous states as well as large cities.
