I definitely agree with this because keeping people safe should be the most important thing. It makes sense that if you want to buy something as dangerous as a gun, you should have to prove you’re responsible first. Doing background checks and mental health evaluations is just a common-sense way to try and stop school shootings or other violence before it happens. It’s not about taking guns away from everyone; it’s just about making sure they don't end up in the hands of someone who wants to hurt people.
