Businesses should be able to pay their workers a living wage, instead of increasing corporate profits and higher-up's salaries

As a young girl with her first job and making 10 dollars an hour I'm getting nowhere in life. Waiting every other week to get paid to only have made about 200$ is not helping me afford a house, car, and the needs I have.
