Yes, I agree with this comment. A lot of liberals and Democrats believe that guns should be banned all together. There is no way every gun can be taken out of the hands of the public. People will hide them and some can illegally bring them over the borders. In situations of violence, guns can be helpful. It can be used for defense if needed.

I personally agree with this comment due to the fact that firearms are an effective way to keep the peace without necessarily needing to ever even fire it. Just the knowledge someone has one can be enough to dissuade others from committing a violent crime.

Banning guns would make it worse a lot of people today like myself use guns for sports and for the uses they were intended to. The guns aren't the reason why these people are dying it's the people wielding the weapons that are killing each other. Most of the guns deaths today are by guns that are either illegally imported or are illegally made. Banning guns that we U.S. American citizens use for our safety and for sports are our right and banning them won't stop the killings if anything it'll make it worse.

I strongly agree that the common good should be allowed to carry firearms for their protection against criminals.

mainly yes guns protect and can kill but when there is liberty it doesn't mean the government is scared

I agree with this comment because I am very in the favor of more of the power being in the hands of the people. I disagree making guns harder to obtain because in many scenarios guns are the reason people are hurt in case of many different harmful crimes and situations.

This was the very idea upon which the United States was founded. By having an armed society, the people have the ability to stand up to their own government, which was the very goal of the 2nd Amendment.

 @BCSRZ23 from North Carolina  agreed…2mos2MO

I agree everyone should have the right to a gun because like the author says if you are in a situation you would want to be armed and ready.

 @BCV4TPJ from Montana  agreed…2mos2MO

I agree completely with this statement, with unarmed citizens the government could easily infringe on our rights.

 @BCSZ9JV from Idaho  agreed…2mos2MO

yes and in certain situations police aren't on seen to protect citizens from active shooters and a gun would be helpful in that situation. guns are tools not toys and people who grow up around guns usually know that alot better than people who didn't.

 @BCSSCNNRepublican from Kentucky  agreed…2mos2MO

I agree completely, banning guns would not solve the issue of gun violence but take away the ability to protect ourselves in the event of a shooting or attack.
