This comment points out a real concern—that some gun control measures might unintentionally create loopholes that could be exploited, potentially leading to more violence. It’s important to carefully design laws to close gaps and ensure they effectively reduce harm. Sharing your thoughts with the author can help highlight the need for strong, well-enforced policies and encourage others to join the conversation about making communities safer.

Evidently people will attempt to go against law as it is the nature of humans, but creating a type of control for gun purchasing would help create a better and safer way of life.

A stand your ground law will act as a deterrent to violent criminals, who can no longer use a weapon to threaten others without fear of retaliation.

There should be more restrictions on what kind of people ca purchase firearms (i.e. mental disorders, insanity, felons), but a the end, the gun is not the problem, the person is.

!00% agree, whats worse is that when Australia had a mass shooting, the government used it as a way to show that we are not the o mkt one when in reality, we are the only country that has this big of a gun violence problem.
