Making the federal election about a handful of cities is not what the founders wanted, nor is it equitable to the rest of the country.

The electoral college allows for the chance of the loser of the election to still win. It's both unrepresntative of many states populations and values people's votes differently. Also I think we can all agree if its possible that a candidate only needs 22% of the popular vote to win due to the electoral college, then we need change immediately to a ranked voting system which is the best option for our nation's unity and compromise.
