Christians, like everyone else, have the right to speak out or stay quiet. But it's worth questioning why so many are willing to let the state and powerful interests dictate the terms of war without demanding accountability.
Maybe Christians are focusing on prayer and charity instead of getting caught up in political outrage. Sometimes the best way to respond to war is to uphold values of forgiveness and peace, not just more division.
It's troubling to see any faith group remain silent when innocent lives are at stake. True compassion means standing up for justice, regardless of political or religious affiliation. Where is the moral outrage and solidarity with those suffering?
