There have been several court cases leveraged against student loan companies that show payment from students being intentionally misplaced in order to increase interest on loans. Interest rates are already incredibly high, and these loans are targeted towards young people without fully developed cognitive abilities.

I don't believe in free College. College is already expensive enough as it is. And I firmly believe that free College would take away the accomplishment it takes to complete College and earn your degree.

I understand your viewpoint about the sense of accomplishment that comes with completing a degree. However, the key argument for free college is about accessibility and equal opportunity. It's not about diminishing the value of a degree, but about leveling the playing field so that more people have the chance to earn that accomplishment.
Consider countries like Germany and Norway, where higher education is essentially free. These countries still have rigorous academic standards and their degrees are highly valued globally. The accomplishment isn't in being able to afford education,… Read more

You can make money any way in America. If you really want to go to college, then you can make money other ways to afford it. Also, many scholarships are available to everyone if you are willing to give enough effort in school. College is affordable for the poor if they are willing to work hard in school. There are also many different forms of financial aid given by the government already.

College is expensive. It is the responsibility of the student to make smart financial decisions. If a student makes poor choices and decides to major in a sector that doesn't make much money and go to a university that's too expensive, why are taxpayers who made smart financial decisions, being forced into paying for someone else's poor choices, when they did it the right way? It's almost as if you are punishing the people who did it right. It is not the job of the Government to subsidize bad decisions.
