The act grants the federal government significant regulatory powers and price controls over U.S. medical service providers and insurance companies. Americans should not need health insurance. Healthcare is something that should be available to all Americans at a reasonable cost.
@9X5F7XZ11mos11MO
I appreciate the government attempting to make sure medical needs are affordable, but it does not appear as though the act has been successful.

In order to have a Universal Health Care System, we have to address the run away costs in our health care system first.
@9HN2TMK2yrs2Y
Yes, but all citizens should have the option to buy into the healthcare plans offered to state and federal employees at a competitive rate as one of the options.
No, it needs major reform
@8SLW9JLIndependent4yrs4Y
People that need healthcare should have access to it. Cost should not matter when it comes to care and medical involvement in life or death. I do not know much about who or what Obamacare covers, but giving people healthcare that can keep them alive and healthy is important.
@9BV94CW2yrs2Y
yes, but the price monthly should be less, it's far too expensive.
@96QH6K23yrs3Y
No. We have to address the COST side first before we begin to plan on how to pay for it.
@96PWHNZ3yrs3Y
No, We need to fix the deficit issue before spending more money.
@95GRPG63yrs3Y
I'm very confused about what to say, I'm not a political person; honestly, I don´t pay attention to politics whatsoever, they suck, and there are too many scandals (depending on the person(s) who are running.)
@94XNQL53yrs3Y
Private healthcare is a blight on society. If the government need exist at all, it should be responsible for the health of everyone on its soil.
@93W5W7XProgressive3yrs3Y
No, I support Single-Payer Healthcare
@albacorewar3yrs3Y
No, it's just a tax on people too poor to afford healthcare. Universal healthcare should be a right from birth.
@92G8ZCR3yrs3Y
Healthcare should be a guaranteed right.
@8YSYV494yrs4Y
yes everyone should have healthcare, but it should cover more and be available to anyone regardless of financial status
@8YSDH6C4yrs4Y
Free healthcare for all. No matter what. Life is important for all skin colors no matter the person.
@8XZF6PZ4yrs4Y
health care should be completely free for everyone.
@8XSK56X4yrs4Y
While I support all Americans having access to healthcare, I do not believe the government should have a hand in controlling prices of services.
@8WRWGFL4yrs4Y
No because if we give out healthcare for free, funding for those tools will go down, causing a shortage
@8TPPVW34yrs4Y
Obamacare is nothing more than government subsidy to insurance companies and thus a windfall for the for-profit medical industry. It should be replaced with a socialized medical system.
@8TKMJXN4yrs4Y
Yes but the current system is too restrictive and inefficient.
@8SWMFJ24yrs4Y
I dont real know about it
@8RJLBWV5yrs5Y
Don’t know enough about to answer
@8RHTNQY5yrs5Y
The state governments should have more of a say in how to take care of their own people, rather than the federal government. That would socialize medical treatment while still encouraging competition.
@8PT4NML5yrs5Y
i belive that, that sort of thing should be completly free. but i guess with like where we currently our as a society i do support obama care
@8PQGL225yrs5Y
yes but i'd like to learn more about it.
@8PMDLXK5yrs5Y
taking away health care from millions of people which they are not covered is a wrong thing
@8PH28TD5yrs5Y
Have a base system of free healthcare for all citizens but allow citizens to buy private insurance with no restrictions to encourage competition in the insurance market as well as to make up for the inefficiencies of a free healthcare system. After all, some insurances wouldn't cover the costs of very expensive life saving surgeries that a national system could provide. The private care would be to provide quicker health care and overall reduce stress on the national free healthcare.
@8PFS58Q5yrs5Y
No, Obamacare has done more harm than good for people.
@8NKTGS35yrs5Y
@8N9NVR25yrs5Y
Yes, but Pharmaceutical companies should have to bid for providing medical supplies to the government, which will cover all health-related operations, within reason.
@8N6RD995yrs5Y
Yes, but I believe aspects of it should be reformed and fixed
@8MV383F5yrs5Y
i don't support it if I'm penalized for not having Insurance!
@8LNRWT35yrs5Y
Depends if the government hs good people and how much they want to control in/what they want to do. (if they want to do bad and unfair things then no
Yes, but I want to continue having the option to purchase private insurance or have it from my employer.
@8KY8F755yrs5Y
Health care should be free to citizens
@8KX6WF8Republican5yrs5Y
Free universal health care. It shouldn’t cost money to simply stay alive.
@8KF5SB75yrs5Y
I do not support ObamaCare for a couple of reasons.
@8JKQZSW5yrs5Y
Perhaps the government should provide aid to those with preexisting conditions, but private insurance companies should not be required to offer their services to everyone.
@8H67B8S5yrs5Y
There should be a set minimum price for healthcare, but there should also be more options for better healthcare plans that would cost more and options to opt-out of governmental healthcare plan that
@8FYNB225yrs5Y
I like the idea of the Obama care project but Donald Trump's Medicaid and medicare are better.
@8F8ZMR65yrs5Y
No, public healthcare should be run at the state level with incentives from the Federal government for the state
@8F2JPZ75yrs5Y
Open the markets so insurers can compete to reduce costs, but allow the government to forbid companies from overcharging should they become monopolies
@8CB6Q6W5yrs5Y
Yes but a non-mandatory single payer system would be better.
@9CKSNJZ2yrs2Y
No, I prefer universal catastrophic coverage instead
@9CHMWD32yrs2Y
No, but repealing it at this point would disproportionately and negatively impact millions of Americans
@9888FS4Libertarian3yrs3Y
no, there should be stricter laws on individual medicine costs
@9835HKW3yrs3Y
I believe a universal healthcare is a way better alternative.
All healthcare should be made available to the masses, regardless of whether or not they can afford it.
@97GP2KR3yrs3Y
Universal health care like Europe
@97CF2W43yrs3Y
universal healthcare needed
@978MQJW3yrs3Y
I Honestly have NO idea.
@975BS2BRepublican3yrs3Y
I feel it could be better but I also feel that Government should not be a part of healthcare.
@8VMH5NH4yrs4Y
A form of health care shouldn't be forced onto some/family that can't afford the forced pay. So no.
@8LYKGJ35yrs5Y
No, not in its current condition. Many things need to be changed and rethought
@8J45RHJ5yrs5Y
We need to create a cheaper health care plan for Americans
@8FL8V2S5yrs5Y
No, move to Medicare for All and remove the profit-taking from health care.
@8F8ZL5Q5yrs5Y
Allow local states to create and maintain their own care for low income families
@8CZBD3KLibertarian5yrs5Y
It needs to be replaced. But until there's a better solution, it has to remain intact
@8WSR8VW4yrs4Y
I think this depends on what the government plans to do with healthcare.
