“Yes and No - no one should be denied coverage due to pre-existing condition, but there should be a limit to how much an insurance company can charge based on the condition. Kids staying on parents insurance until 26 is good. Being able to sign-up across state lines is also good. The mandatory aspect will put people in financial hardship. Forcing companies to cover all employees will lead to lay offs. Keep the pieces i mentioned, drop the rest. Also, all gov't employees including congressmen/women and senators, president, etc should be required to be on same plans as the rest of us and not have some premo plan that the rest of us can't get. Any mandatory plan should have no exceptions including as mentioned, gov't employees all the way to the president have to be on same one. That is fair and equal.”
