Should the federal government require people to wear face masks in public during the COVID pandemic?
In August 2020 Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden stated that, if elected, he would sign executive order requiring people to wear masks in order to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. President Donald Trump stated that he opposed a federal mask mandate and has left it up to the governors of each state to pass their own mandates.
