If they do not have the recourse to obtain one then they do not need to vote. It’s as simple as that.

This!!! Like figure it out! I am tired of the excuses. That is why the nation is so divided. There is a total mass of uneducated, unmotivated people listening to Biden talk about free this and free that and let's raise taxes for the wealthy - and they're all thinking "hell yeah! I don't have to work because the working class is being taxes higher to provide for my laziness" They have no idea how money works etc. If they did I'd be confident to say they would maybe vote a little differently.

The higher tax rate proposal on the higher income individuals is meant be an investment in all the nation from what i understand. There's no sense in living off the government permanently unless you are disabled physically or mentally. Social security already provides for retirement at elderly age because of the work you put in during your young able bodied years. Taxing the rich more is meant to ensure the wealth and success of the nation's citizens is spread about in all sectors to help invest in those disadvantaged and not born into stable circumstances which allow quick and easy…  Read more

bro you need a id for driving, school, college, driving, to leave the country you have access to it if you can get all of that you can get a voter id it is way more secure than not having it i dont know why we dont already have it

 @9RGQQGD from Illinois  commented…2yrs2Y

You do understand when democrats discuss raising taxes on the rich that doesn’t mean someone who is working a standard office job, construction, etc. it’s referring to billionaire CEO’s who have more money than they know what to do with and the people who hoard their money and have accumulated the nations income and reside in the top 1% correct? Like, be realistic. He is not coming for the Walmart store Manager or the man who owns his family business, or the doctor who is average, or the reject business major who is simply making it by. Voter ID are implemented with the goal of preventing voter fraud, which is a legitimate concern for the integrity of the electoral process.

It will be advantageous to those not allowed to vote and politcal opponents who wish to cheat the system.

Everyone should have an ID to show themselves so it’s a fair election and not just by random people who didn’t even want to be put on there.

 @9F95GWF from Idaho  disagreed…3yrs3Y

You should be required to have a Photo ID so we can accurately count votes and not have another mishap of the last election

 @9FFLTXQfrom Washington  disagreed…3yrs3Y

Yes a photo I'd should be required for voting because some political parties are fraud they increase their vote by telling there people to vote using a fake ID

They would not be at a disadvantage if they were valid U.S. Citizens. The government provides multiple measures that are of reasonable convenience for the general public to obtain photo identification with valid proof of citizenship

 @9F9TQ43 from Pennsylvania  disagreed…3yrs3Y

it is a ridiculous argument. it is very simple to get an ID or produce a driver's license and it should be required.

 @9F9TRJJDemocrat from Connecticut  disagreed…3yrs3Y

Not for immigrants who just arrived and many people who can't afford to get one.

 @9D5WVZJ from Kentucky  commented…3yrs3Y

Just make it to where United States Citizens who don't have an ID can come get one for free with the correct document's, But only an ID no License for driving. It is almost impossible for a citizen nowadays to not have an ID since you need one for practically everything.

 @JollyC0nsensu5Socialistfrom Washington  disagreed…3yrs3Y

While it seems like a reasonable solution to provide free IDs, it is important to consider the logistical and financial implications. Funding this initiative would require significant budget allocations. Moreover, the process of obtaining an ID, even if it's free, could still be a barrier for some citizens. For instance, people living in rural areas might have to travel long distances to the nearest issuing office. Also, the process can be time-consuming, which can be a hurdle for those working multiple jobs or unable to take time off work.

It's very simple to get an ID, if they were truly informed, passionate, and motivated enough to cast their vote for who they wanted then, they would ensure they had one well in advance. We also don't need random unknown people casting in their votes.

A completely misguided statement. Lies promoted by the media.

The local government will provide at no cost, a government issued photo id. They also provide at no cost, transportation to local DMV to receive the id. There are non-governmental agencies/charities/social groups to help with the same.

 @B2274GF from Kentucky  commented…2yrs2Y

Yeah this would be a national security risk, someone could vote multiple times. Illegal immigrants or cells of some type could seek to destabilize our nation. This is all round no brainer, voting for the direction of our country needs to be verified and that all citizens who do vote will only vote once. There is absolutely no reason for IDs to not be required, if you want to participate in citizenship you need to be recognized like the rest of us, not hide in the shadows like a mentally unstable person that needs assistance. Not punching down, im saying please seek help and more than likely…  Read more

 @9S6FFMD from Texas  commented…2yrs2Y

If we are concerned about people not able to afford a government photo ID then it should be free for those who do not have a drivers license etc. They can also make it easier for those who do not have one to get one by removing some of the hoops they need to jump through. Problem solved. Photo ID should be required and everyone should have the ability to vote, just need some commonsense people to figure out how to meet both criteria.

 @9QCXKPW from Georgia  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Right... so punish the ones that actually do have their ducks in a row and contribute to society by allowing just about anyone to vote for the future of their country all because someone couldn't put in the work to figure out how to get a valid govt. ID? What? Makes sense.
