We shouldn't have to worry so much as to spend more money on the military. What wars are happening directly to us and not our allies?

 @9RLQ2MP from Florida  answered…1yr1Y

Keep the current spending but allow for more common sense spending for the military and keep bad contractors accountable

 @9R7JJQ4 from New York  answered…1yr1Y

money should be spent on paying soldiers more. they practically live in poverty with their current wages

 @9MBXXK2 from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

Should be investigated in depth regarding the accurate disbursement of funds and change the budget and actions accordingly

The budget on military spending is too attached to weapons dealers. Instead, attach it to a threat assessment that must pass public scrutiny and our representatives.

Decrease, I beleive we should decrease military spending by 7%-8% and redirect funds to social and healthcare spending

 @9K8NRLC  from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

Decrease to nearly nothing, and fund clean, renewable and nuclear energy projects, raise minimum wage, provide universal healthcare. Us citizen's would have a great trust in our government, this is the most important question.

The military should reprioritize current funding to develop systems that can address peer/near-pear future threats.

 @9HJKBPW from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

The government should only increase military spending if other areas of public services are not impacted by lack of funds.

 @2TFTQ8N from New Hampshire  answered…2yrs2Y

Decrease, and the government should invest that money in promoting human rights and democracy through other means.

 @9FZQ7NXDemocrat from North Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, specifically the pay and benefits for the soldiers is what should be increased, the rest of the military already has more than enough.

Streamline current spending and get rid of wasteful spending and only add funds accordingly. Budget better

 @95DNFNL from Virginia  answered…3yrs3Y

Current spending needs to be streamlined. Determine what the military really needs and get rid of wasteful spending.

 @8X4DGJB from Indiana  answered…4yrs4Y

Increase it if a war is confirmed to happen. If no war is happening then it should stay at a constant spending.
