Yes for supporting our troops! No for additional money thrown away on stupidity like leaving weapons in a foreign country!

 @9W9LDTR from Illinois  answered…11mos11MO

We need to find a way to make it cheaper. Things such as a bolt should not end up costing so much money when it finally gets to the military. It can stay the same

 @9TY2GKQ from Tennessee  answered…12mos12MO

They should mainly focus spending on actual military strength instead of wasting it on "DIE" ("diversity, inclusion, and equity")

 @9TX76LJ from Missouri  answered…12mos12MO

It could be increased, but only if other parts of the government where reduced or removed completely so as to avoid raising taxes.

 @9TLQXDDLibertarian from California  answered…1yr1Y

Government waste and abuse needs to be addressed. The government does not need to spend MORE money on military, it desperately needs to audit the funds it currently spends.

 @9TLN23W from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

The activity duty budget should remain the same. Government contracts and pension for petty discharge should be investigated.

 @9SMHW8WRepublican from Utah  answered…1yr1Y

I don’t want to increase spending of the war machine. I want to increase spending if it protects our borders

 @9S88DPW from New York  answered…1yr1Y

Yes we need a strong military. However if the increase in funding is going to go for woke BS then NO

 @9S52BN9 from Michigan  answered…1yr1Y

Why have an army these individuals didn't are sacrificing thier lives for a fight they didn't start all government officials need to be military

 @9R9GMHY from Washington  answered…1yr1Y

Decrease spending on equipment increase spending on soldiers decrease total spending on the military industrial complex

 @9QZ8PYMLibertarian from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, and no. I think it should only be increased if there’s new equipment coming available, or if anything needs to be updated in general.

 @9NDL42HRepublican from Florida  answered…1yr1Y

I should be able to choose how my tax dollars are spent, whether that means 100% to the military or split it 50/50 with education.

 @9N6YSTZConstitution from Missouri  answered…1yr1Y

We should always have the capability of our current military industrial complex, but return to isolationism

 @9LVVGGL from Utah  answered…1yr1Y

What we need is transparency and accountability in government spending. I want a strong military but I know the money is being wasted and abused, therefore, I works not vote to increase spending. I would vote to FIX the current system of waste, fraud, abuse and laundering.

 @9JZ3QH3 from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Increase, But only increase the salary of our soldiers. There should be no reason our soldiers should struggle to make house and car payments.

 @9JGBF6J from Colorado  answered…2yrs2Y

Homeland military spending should be increased but foreign military spending should be drastically reduced.

 @9JFTPN5 from Rhode Island  answered…2yrs2Y

U.S. should only have a defensive military. We don’t need to fight innocent Arabs in the Middle East for some Jews in Israel.

 @9HTW75B from North Dakota  answered…2yrs2Y

Decrease unless it’s for the cause of our own country. (Ex. Not wasting billions of dollars for another country (Ukraine).)

 @9HKTSTP from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

We pay enough to be superior to our adversaries, but waste so much that we think we need to increase spending. Trim the fat!

 @9H2LQS2 from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Neither, however the military should be prepared to adapt and expand spending as new technology emerges and as required circumstantially.

 @9GCTW3F from Arizona  answered…2yrs2Y

We should be bolstering our military readiness here at home. We should not be providing other countries with our military equipment, we are headed towards WW3 and will not be prepared

 @9FN62LRLibertarian from Illinois  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9FBR3G8 from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9F6RHB7 from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

The military spending should be properly spent at the expense of AMERICAN PEOPLE not other nations. As of right now our spending should not be heading to Ukraine but instead returned to the people of the United states.

 @9DN4MML from California  answered…2yrs2Y

Only after a complete audit of where every penny of military spending goes

 @9DGNGW3Republican from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Increase, only after auditing current spending to reallocate more efficiently

 @9D8VC92 from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

I am in favor of smart spending. Cutting down on unnecessary programs while keeping what is necessary and strategic and increasing funding where it is realistically necessary.

 @9D752GGRepublican from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Increase until we make up for what Biden and his AMERICA FOR SALE cronies have given to our enemies

 @9D5DQXLIndependent from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Military spending should not be increased until a full review on current spending is conducted by a third party reviewer.

 @9D4XRNMRepublican from Illinois  answered…2yrs2Y

No increase in spending if it is to be used for inclusion and diversity training. It should only be used to defend the nation, not for social experiments.

 @9D4Q95Q from Tennessee  answered…2yrs2Y

 @8RNQY3X from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

We should not interfere in other counties But at this point we should just be able to defend ourselves

 @8FLMYS2 from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8FH7XG4 from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

The military needs to be strong, but we need to be more selective in how we police the world

 @9BZCP7TLibertarian from Kentucky  answered…2yrs2Y

Decrease by pulling out of foreign conflicts and protecting our borders.

 @99XSKZX from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

 @96LRTTV from North Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

Prioritize Bridget better and utilize military personnel more so than contractors

 @96BCK2S from New York  answered…3yrs3Y

I enjoy big military but spending but some spending can be moved to other areas

 @964P5NT from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

Increase if it’s truly needed but not for the military industrial complex.

 @964599L from New Jersey  answered…3yrs3Y

 @963TSJ9 from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

Neither. The DoD needs to find a way to change the mindset of spend it all this year so we get it next year. Fiscal conservation is under utilized and a process should be explored to reward those DoD entities who spend less than their budget and project costs out 4+ years to avoid large budget bumps.

 @95THX3N from California  answered…3yrs3Y

 @9579DWJ from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

Decrease current amount, until the Military Industrial Complex is made transparent.

 @953Z8X5 from Virginia  answered…3yrs3Y

Neither Increase or Decrease. Should Heavily reform and update management of funds.

 @94SW2KBIndependent from California  answered…3yrs3Y

 @94CBH33 from Idaho  answered…3yrs3Y

Neither, should be based on annual reports to the people and then we make the decisions based off the last year to increase or decrease. No pork spending.

 @93YZQTY from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

 @93XMBVNRepublican from Arizona  answered…3yrs3Y

Increase only if we have competent leadership including the President and military leaders, which we currently do not have.

 @93X67QX from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @93V8RJS from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

Decrease after massive audits of military contracts so as to make purchasing power more efficient

 @93LQ2HS from Illinois  answered…3yrs3Y

 @93FD58W from Tennessee  answered…3yrs3Y

 @93DR2H3 from New Jersey  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but make our military bigger but make the equipment cheaper/worse. 1 fighter jet can't take on 100 normal planes.

 @93CHD8YRepublican from California  answered…3yrs3Y

 @92YBRSF from New Hampshire  answered…3yrs3Y

Increase efficiency of current spending, allowing a decrease in spending.

 @92VDHPF from Tennessee  answered…3yrs3Y

 @92TP99J from California  answered…3yrs3Y

 @92SB2GKIndependent from Pennsylvania  answered…3yrs3Y

The government needs to reform the way it spends on defense, such as, eliminate grow-back spending.

 @92MQ6X9 from Kansas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @92LWG4G from Nebraska  answered…3yrs3Y

Stop wasting money on hi-tech equipment that fails. Stop wasting money on programs that take forever to work out the "bugs" in and become obsolete before being placed in front line service, then require more money to enhance. F-22/F-35 ring a bell?

 @92KDQGRRepublican from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

 @9294DGFLibertarian from Tennessee  answered…3yrs3Y

Decrease. The military should only be used to protect against homeland invasion.

 @927RQNV from New Jersey  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but it should be used to increase the size of the military drastically instead of spending it all super expensive stuff that will slow down the growth of the military.

 @8ZYCXK6 from Minnesota  answered…3yrs3Y

The Department of Defense should under go a bipartisan Congressional audit to reduce the severe waste inside the DOD.

 @8ZS4RZN from Washington  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8ZNBK7HLibertarian from North Carolina  answered…4yrs4Y

The government should decrease military spending particularly into NATO.

 @8ZFY6V6 from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

Increase for defensive purposes only and reduce the amount of frivolous spending on construction/renovations at installations

 @8ZFXG88 from Illinois  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8Z384JG from Maryland  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8YPPH9KConstitution from Utah  commented…4yrs4Y

Increase

Our country has only lasted so long and been so steadfast and strong in this world because we had a strong military. Defunding that military leaves us open to attacks and leaves us open to losing our freedoms.

 @8YGHG4M from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

It should learn how to properly spend money - support the military- lose the waist

 @8Y5XVDSRepublican from Kansas  answered…4yrs4Y

Decrease, but only if military spending is transformed into a less wasteful manner we can not just slash their budget without proper planning

 @8XWY4JY from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

Targeted cuts and military strategist recommended funding for viable programs

 @8XT6VDP from New York  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8XSTQYSRepublican from Colorado  answered…4yrs4Y

Direct the funds to scientific advancement in times of peace but have it available to be switched back immediately when needed.

 @8W3VZWL from Illinois  answered…4yrs4Y

It's not about the amount of funding, but of how it's spent. DoD is probably one of the most wasteful areas of government.

 @8VPFQFK from Utah  answered…4yrs4Y

Military spending is grossly unaccounted for. Our military needs to be mighty but every penny should be individually be reviewed.
