Should the government increase or decrease military spending?

Decrease, America spends more money on defense compared to the next 8 countries, most of them being allies.

I think they should just leave it constant, because the US is already in debt and their military is pretty good from what I hear and see

I think that military spending should only decrease if there is a threat on the rise or if we are actively in the middle of some sort of conflict.
