No. The government should lower income tax for low-income individuals and raise income tax for large corporations.

 @9D769PB from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, increase how much tax the rich, remove all existing tax loopholes for large cooperations. And lower the tax rate for the lower tax brackets.

 @B7K5MJM from Georgia  answered…4 days4D

Tax reform for rich people's personal income, slight reform for large corporations without having a drastic effect on costs for consumers

 @B5Y72RJDemocrat from Georgia  answered…3mos3MO

No, but reform the tax structure to ensure the rich are actually paying, such as by closing the leveraged assets loophole

 @B59QT46 from Georgia  answered…5mos5MO

Reform to a flat tax and remove existing tax loopholes for corporations and multi-millionaires & billionaires.

 @B4CJJRBRepublican from Georgia  answered…6mos6MO

I believe in The Fair Tax. It is a consumption tax. If you are rich and consume more, you will pay more. If you are poor and consume less, you will pay less. Basic necessities are not taxed with The Fair Tax.

 @B4C7QPN from Georgia  answered…6mos6MO

We should not raise taxes on anyone unti we are 100% certain we are no misusing or misspending current tax dollars. I support eliminating waste.

 @B427XNR from Georgia  answered…7mos7MO

Lower taxes for the poor and get rid of certain social programs that have almost nothing to do with welfare.

 @9XX82YS from Georgia  answered…11mos11MO

No, but make sure they can't use loopholes to get out of paying taxes, and use that money for things that benefit as many people as possible

 @9RYFXYC from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

No, but anyone with over $1million in assets should be prohibited from contributing to any political party, candidate or third party PAC.

 @9RXBR96 from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

No, but anyone with more than $1 million dollars in assets can not contribute to any political campaign or political group that supports any given candidate or party.

 @9RKD2B6 from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

Pass a law to balance budget until debt interest is low. Keep expense cuts and tax increases on the table until debt is controlled

 @9NP7NFR from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

We should reuse the income tax rates that were used before slavery. This would be fair to all peoples and abolish the red-lined/demarcated/truncated tax model used to oppress impoverished people through common, humane, social services.

 @9K9ZPTV from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

Enforce current tax payments more strictly with rich people and with corporations, our economy would be more stable if they stopped evading taxes.

 @9K5T96X from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

US needs to reform all taxes. Must ask, why are we taxing? What would get done without taxes? Can we live with that? Do we need to live with that? Should we? Get baseline public infra metrics.

 @9G2Q8G8 from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, only for those who have over a billion dollars and close tax loopholes for them. Allow small businesses tax breaks

do more research on what the rich and the poor spend and make taxes more dependable on other aspects instead of only income.

 @9672RC5 from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but add a "wealth tax" so that we only increase taxes on the ultra-rich, AND remove loopholes.

 @95S5XC4 from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8ZXS7P5 from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

No, Lower small business taxes and remove loopholes on the extremely wealthy instead.

 @8ZT2YWT from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

Increasing taxes will only increase problems due to how influential the rich are. Many own businesses and pay poorer people which would cause them to decrease wages or get rid of incentives. Lower taxes of the poor and show people where their money is going.

we should upgrade the tax structure. this many poor people don't want to be middle class because of high tax. more job opportunities and more educations on people will be more like a solution

 @8XQCTCP from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

Keep the current tax structure and remove all existing tax loopholes for large coporations

 @8WY4SR6 from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

They should make it mandatory to pay charities of their choice during a time period, rather than pay the government more.

 @8VX7VXT from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8VRQJLM from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

no, when tax is a set percentage, the rich already pay more proportionately

 @8VPCL8M from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

Before talking about raising taxes on the rich, the government needs to spend current tax revenue more wisely.

 @8VJZD8Y from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

Lower taxes for lower income households. Then, remove all existing loopholes for large corporations and the "rich", and raise taxes on those communities.

 @8TPYKTVProgressive from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

certain corporations or companies that have a high standard of influence or that make a lot of money should pay more than those that don't make as much and don't contribute as much to a growing society.

 @8TK4L4S from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

no, everyone should be the same percentage of whatever their income is.

 @8RYW6Q4Independent from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8RYSYSJ from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

Remove all loopholes, so that just a percentage can determine tax. Also, add a wealth (net worth) tax only on the ultra-rich to redistribute income to the poor and middle class and pay off the enormous national debt.

 @8RB5XGN from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

hell no the American dream is to become rich and when your rich why should the US raise taxes on the rich they worked hard to get where they are at.

 @8QQC54H from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

Taxes should be kept as low as possible across all income brackets, but get progressively higher as the income gets higher

 @8QCYJH9Independent from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8PRQGFD from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

I would love to see them try. (most rich people will spend large sums of money to use loopholes like the currently are and will for the foreseeable future.)

 @8PJZ765Libertarian from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

They need to enfore the existing tax collection rates more to avoid rich people just not paying taxes.

 @8PFL8TWDemocrat from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

offer incentives for American companies that don't use foreign alternatives for production. Also for maintaining a 95% employment rate of us citizens.

 @8MT28DHDemocrat from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

No but Decrease the amount of tax loopholes available so people like the current president are not able to avoid paying taxes

 @8MNF849 from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

I feel like people who don't have much should pay less for tax and people who have rich pay the same because people who are wealthy make a lot of money.

 @8LLZ8QV from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

Increase sales tax so tourists and illegal immigrants can contribute. Tax according to income. Rich should pay slightly more and adjust for those in lower income brackets.

 @8LGL27J from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

Graduated income tax. IRS limited to 10 pages of deductions, credits, and instructions. It has to be that simple. IRS sends a bill, they track and calculate what taxes you owe, so the burden is on government and not us to track taxes owed. No sales tax except luxury goods. No property tax except on commercial/business property.

 @8KPG6LY from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

Lower taxes for the poor, and stop allowing the wealthy to have so many loop holds that they don't pay an equal fair tax rate

 @8KF67HKLibertarian from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8HWWGMC from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8HLTSWD from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

I think the taxes should be equal for the rich and the poor but the government should raise the sales tax. That's how I think it will help with profiting from illegal immigrants or foreign visitors. That's how I think taxes would benefit the economy.

I don't even think the tax structure is fair. Why should you tax people who work hard for their money as opposed to those who don't even work? It really depends on the situation, but that's also something really hard to regulate too.
