Yes, and mental health facilities should come back with more oversight to reduce abuse like in the past.

Yes, but do not use it as a means of denying 2nd amendment rights without Due Process.

Don't fund mental health research, let private companies address this issue in order to find better treatments.

 @8VJ66KY from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

No, and the government should get out of the way of researchers who do not violate constitutional rights

 @8TQXWTHIndependent from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

No, there is too much pseudoscience and abuse of funds in this area

 @8PG98ZC from Arizona  answered…6yrs6Y

No, more often than not, the field of Psychology is used to pathologize people the "researcher" disagrees with intellectually and leverage government and public angst against a given faction; it should be treated as the pseudo-science it is.

Mental health is a serious topic that should be looked into more and not ignored because people take their lives and that is not something to be ignored.

Yes, but stop cramping mental health's ability to get to the heart of a person's problem just because it doesn't fit into the current political/cultural/social climate (ie LGBTQ, PTSD, vaccine's allergies, Autism, etc).

No, there is enough money going to big pharma and universities for research-- most of which is useless.

 @8XS4VJY from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, a reasonable amount of funding for mental health research. Most losses are caused from mental health issues. People in debt typically have depression.

 @8RSTXFTLibertarian from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

No, but people should be made more aware of the issues surrounding mental health.
