Is there such a thing as mental illness?

Mental health IS REAL and it is not a joke. I have been hospitalized twice and put in therapy multiple times for severe anxiety and depression. So yes, there is such thing as mental health.

No, mental health institutions should be permanently closed on a national level. They are corrupt institutions ran by corrupt people.

Absolutely. You cannot begin to talk about the homeless issue until you've addressed the mental health crisis we currently face in America. Less homeless people equates to more workers, which in return helps unemployment rates and the economy. Americans deserve the right to FREE mental health services. Private sectors don't care about us, so we need to make the educated decision to implement money and resources into individuals suffering from mental health diseases/disorders, ect.

Again, merit-based only. There exists far too much monetary incentive to enroll in and be subject to mental health treatment
