Less, and we should have single payer healthcare so anyone including veterans can receive care at any hospital

 @B3VHKSP from New York  answered…7mos7MO

I feel like an ore exceeded with the funding they get, but at the same time, not forget the people who gave their life for this country.

 @B2RVGJ8 from New York  answered…8mos8MO

Everyone should be able to receive the healthcare they need. There should be organizations for the specific care of veterans because they will have health problems that other companies may not be able to handle well.

 @9W3CNKB from New York  answered…12mos12MO

More to ensure that veterans get the care they need and are not neglected by the system, but not at the complete expense of others in need as well.

 @9VNT4XB from New York  answered…12mos12MO

I am a veteran, but do not utilize veteran's healthcare. Therefore, I do not feel sufficiently educated on the issue to provide a comment.

 @9T7TQR3 from New York  answered…1yr1Y

Whatever the veterans want really. It shouldn't be our place to speak since its THEIR healthcare. If they want to make it more public, then so be it. If they choose to be more private, then that's their decision.

 @9M699Z3 from New York  answered…1yr1Y

Neither. Increase the funding for government veteran healthcare systems but also allow private organizations to continue their practice.

 @9JZJBFY  from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

Veterans should have any and all medical needs taken care during service and after discharge if they commit no crimes

 @9H662ZP from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

They should be allowed to see their own doctor but more money needs to be invested in the VA system as well

 @9GQJX2M from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, if the VA fails to meet the needs of the veteran, they should be able to get the help from private doctors.

 @9G9MZ5M from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

More because veterans should see a doctor of their choice and Social Security should be privatized so that there is no taxes being paid to it.

 @9FCKM4B from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

There should be more privatization as this will allow veterans to see any doctor their choice

 @B5SYZ76 from New York  answered…4mos4MO

We should increase funding to the current system, and impeach Trump for mass firings of veterans from Federal employment

 @B59DSFP from New York  answered…5mos5MO

Private health care would be beneficial to veterans. But many veterans have lots of psychiatric and psychological disorders like PTSD, PNES etc. so if you want to privatize healthcare for veterans, hire veteran educated nurses and doctors that are familiar with veteran specific disorders to not make them feel othered in healthcare. OR provide more funding to VA hospitals so there are more doctors and appointments are not so far away to schedule.

 @9G7RZ3S from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

Privatize so that veterans can see a doctor of their choice and privatize social security thoroughly do that social security is not wasted from government taking taxes from people

  @Yaunti2  from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

Less, private healthcare shouldn't exist, it's a virus preying on those in need

 @9FLKWD2  from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9FHJQRBWomen’s Equality from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

I would like to see BOTH government health coverage programs and private insurance replaced by severe restriction on the prices of health care, auditing health care bills for unnecessary fees, and local states paying doctors a fixed salary to doctors like we do to police and other public workers, reducing the cost of health care to only absolutely necessary resource fees that can be covered either out of pocket or automatically covered by charity organizations for low-income individuals. Both medicare and private insurance companies should be banned as fraud organizations that artificially…  Read more

 @96KR3KQ from New York  answered…3yrs3Y

There should be more funding for healthcare in general, but veterans should high slightly more priority depending on their health.

 @96FVTNX from New York  answered…3yrs3Y

Depends on if the veteran has experienced negative effects from being a veteran such as ptsd or a life changing disability

 @94TS6K7 from New York  answered…3yrs3Y

Less, and we should adopt a single-payer health care system that accommodates all citizens (veterans or otherwise).

Veterans should maintain a choice, but this doesn’t necessarily mean “more” privatizing

 @92QPF6L from New York  answered…3yrs3Y

Less, and merge the V.A into a single-payer universal healthcare system.

 @8Z69PHT from New York  answered…4yrs4Y

we need to overhaul the va increasing its funding veteran should be able to to go which ever doctor they prefer but va hospitals should be places, veterans should not need to go to anyone .

 @8YVS9KR from New York  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8XXJCXT from New York  answered…4yrs4Y

Regardless, the old system works fine, privatization cares for those who can't get in the VA.

 @8XNRW9K from New York  answered…4yrs4Y

More, to make veteran's healthcare cheaper, more efficient, customized, and allow them to see any doctor of their choice.

 @8XCFC4B from New York  answered…4yrs4Y

for expediency sure, but not to go to the #1 doctor in the country for any ailment they desire to have treated.

 @8X2JCWB from New York  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8WMN7WF from New York  answered…4yrs4Y

Less, and also the VA should be merged into a single-payer universal healthcare system.

 @8WCK9SG from New York  answered…4yrs4Y

Veterans should receive good healthcare, but it shouldn’t be much better than Medicare unless it is for a more serious ailment.

Free healthcare should be provided to all citizens, but especially to veterans left homeless after time served.

 @8MCQ735 from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

Less, but until a single payer system is passed allow them access to the private market.

 @8MC26CG from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

Less, veterans should be able to see any doctor of their choice but the government has an obligation to provide effective treatment without the need for privatization.

 @8MBC2JP from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8LCX9JTRepublican from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

If a veteran needs healthcare, then the price they pay should be exponentially low because they risked their lives to serve our country, and they deserve the best.

 @8LCQ2D7 from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

Any person who has served this country should be eligible to receive free health care from any facility they choose for their lifetime and that should include drug treatment services, mental health and physical health.

 @8LB85D9 from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

Veterans should be offered an insurance card that acts like normal insurance that is paid by the government. Kind of like all of patients that have Medicaid can see any provider that takes Medicaid and all their visits and medication is covered in full because they can’t afford it. Our veterans should be offered the same freedoms with better coverage and not have to wait to see some one in the va or get referred out and forced to jump through the hoops

Increase funds for veterans. Provide lists of doctors and specialists who will best care for their specific needs.

 @8F936N6 from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

Veterans need to be guaranteed excellent medical care, funded by the government, within their local community.

 @8CQKJTL from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

maybe more? If the veteran chooses that? However many veterans have healthcsre issues specific to the military which private care does not deal with as well

Privatize, so veterans can make more choices and this will increase their investments, savings, and give them a lower cost.

 @9B8MLG2 from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

More, because privatizing veterans' healthcare leads to more investments, savings, and lower costs and more choices for them.

 @9B7HTWK from New York  answered…3yrs3Y

Privatizing veteran’s health care would give more to the individual’s control and will help increase investment, saving rates, and result in higher benefits for retirees
