Yes, but only after living in the country for one year and plan on/are working on/are getting citizenship.

 @B2PTB3GIndependent from North Dakota  answered…8mos8MO

Nope. If I lived as a foreigner in ANY other country, would they let me choose their next leader? This is a stupid question. Citizens should elect their leaders. The leaders of our country represent LEGAL citizens.

 @9YHC2RV from North Dakota  answered…11mos11MO

No, and there should be legal ramifications if a foreigner, currently residing in the United States should attempt to vote, i.e. prison time

 @9XFMT6Y from North Dakota  answered…11mos11MO

I think that people who are here on a work visa year round or almost all year round should get to vote, but I don't think illegal immigrants should vote.

 @9HTVWKFRepublican from North Dakota  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes they should be able to anyone who pays taxes should but they also need to be living in the country for at least 6 years and have their citizenship.

 @8W7P93BAmerican from North Dakota  answered…4yrs4Y

If you live here for more than a year, yes, but if you come and vote after only living here for a couple months than no.

 @9VY8KW9Republican from North Dakota  answered…12mos12MO

If they entered the country illegally than they shouldn’t even be here in the first place But if they entered the country legally than they should be able to vote within a years worth of time

 @9VH5RDN from North Dakota  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, after going through the legal process of coming to the US through a visa and the legal process of obtaining citizenship with a sponsor

 @96HTSP7 from North Dakota  answered…3yrs3Y

Every person should be required to have a viable US ID to vote so that inflated or Inaccurate percentages may be limited in a federal election

 @94KY9GZLibertarian from North Dakota  answered…3yrs3Y

It depends on if they've made an effort to become a citizen and truly want to work for change.

 @93GHZR9 from North Dakota  answered…3yrs3Y

Legal migrants should be allowed to vote in local elections until they gain citizenship

 @93CB394 from North Dakota  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, depending on if they consider it their "home" and plan on living in the country for a long period of time.

 @8ZZVGH8Democrat from North Dakota  answered…4yrs4Y

No, they don't live here perminately and don't have basic knowledge of the candidates.

 @8YM3DVL from North Dakota  answered…4yrs4Y

They should be allowed to vote upon receipt of a work visa or any other documentation showing they will reside in the United States for an extended amount of time or.temporary to permanent residence.

 @8V6LPZJ from North Dakota  answered…4yrs4Y

Only if they were raised here and been here for really long, not where they just barley got to the U.S and trying to vote. They should at least know English and live in the U.S for more then 20 years.

 @8L77DH7 from North Dakota  answered…5yrs5Y

It should be depending on how long they have been in American. Like say a mom and a dad have a baby, not in America then they come to America and they lived there for more than 10-15 years then they should or it just depends on how long you have lived in America.

 @8JNZ3K8 from North Dakota  answered…5yrs5Y
