This country is a Capitalist hell-hole that prioritises profit over people. The best thing our country has been able to do is use propaganda and convince other nations that "the american dream" is real and that the United States is the best country. It's not. Our citizens have been convinced to accept that what we have in place is the best way to operate a country, when statistically, it's proven wrong. If life in the United States was meant to serve the people, we would not have the highest infant mortality rate out of all developed nations. We would be able to walk down the streets without being afraid of possibly being raped or killed. This society is not okay.

We don't understand how good we have it here, we have the highest dollar per-capita here where even some of the poorer people have it better than most people in other countys. Also we have freedom of speech and press so we can say our minds without the fear of disaearing like in communist countrys. We have many comoditys like starbucks and some of the best colleges in the world, if you thought we have it really bad here try living in rual mexico where the cartells live and there is a feafr your dauther will disppare into the sex trade and possibly killed.

No government is perfect. There are many very real problems in America that are heard about throughout the world. For example, Dobbs V. Jackson struck the United States and surrounding countries. The problems in our country are not kept secret.

The trying of America is to be free, to be able to think what you want to think, do what you want to do, and believe what you want to believe. Freedom. Usually if you are working a government job you are getting paid slightly better than the average worker. However, teachers work for the government and even with the highest degree, the most they can make is 40,000 a year. Which is terrible since the teachers are the ones raising our next generation. Government only pays well in respected and biased areas.

A Moment of Darkness': Washington Post's No-Endorsement Decision Ignites Media Firestorm

Even though the presidential race between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris is neck and neck, The Washington Post has decided not to make a presidential endorsement for the first time in 36 years, the publisher and CEO announced Friday."We are returning to our roots of not endorsing presidential candidates," Will Lewis wrote in an opinion piece published on the paper's website. He referenced the paper's policy in the decades prior to 1976, when, following the Watergate scandal that the Post broke, it endorsed Democratic nominee Jimmy Carter. The last time the Post did not endorse a presidential candidate in the general election was 1988, according to a search of its archives.Colleagues learned the news from the editorial page editor, David Shipley, at a tense meeting shortly before Lewis' announcement. The meeting was characterized by someone with direct knowledge of discussions on condition of anonymity to speak about internal matters.Shipley said that he told other editorial board leaders Thursday by management that there would be no endorsement, though he has known for weeks. He added that he "owns" this decision.
