No but provide more scholarship opportunities and lower interest rates for low income students.

 @9F48VQDLibertarian from Arizona  answered…3yrs3Y

 @BC23M5WCommunist from Arizona  answered…3mos3MO

Yes for now, but in the long term the economy should be structured such that government intervention is not required to have free tuition.

 @9H7ZNLMIndependent from Arizona  answered…3yrs3Y

Provide lower or no interest rates for student loans. And provide more scholarship opportunities for lower-income students.

 @9G9J7DGSocialist from Arizona  answered…3yrs3Y

No, but the government should provide lower interest rates for student loans and more scholarship opportunities for low-income students.

As said before free education will not only raise taxes but will also lead to increase of requirements and expectations to be hired in any job since anyone can obtain a college degree for free. in other words it would make the college degree more useless.

 @BDXTD4S from Arizona  answered…7 days7D

Yes but should also offer tuition for trade schools. Not everyone needs or wants a college degree

 @BDSDZTD from Arizona  answered…3wks3W

Yes, and force a fixed tuition cost by the government and regulate yearly tuition increases

 @BDRSZDWNo Labels  from Arizona  answered…3wks3W

Only if you’re studying to be of service such as police, fire, doctors, nurses & teachers

 @3waldry from Arizona  answered…3wks3W

 @BDQSRZR from Arizona  answered…3wks3W

No, and shelling out so much money has only made it cost more since the universities can just hike up the prices as the government keeps backing them up.

 @BDPMTDH from Arizona  answered…3wks3W

 @BDKRQQG from Arizona  answered…1mo1MO

Yes, but four-institutions and banks are needlessly raising schooling prices and directing the funds poorly

 @BDKJJWWGreen from Arizona  answered…1mo1MO

 @BDBTTNT from Arizona  answered…1mo1MO

 @BD9R9J2 from Arizona  answered…1mo1MO

No, and all government funding needs to be removed from higher education completely bones and grants to students are subsidies to colleges in universities. It should stop.

 @BD8SYVY  from Arizona  answered…1mo1MO

 @BD5L4VX from Arizona  answered…2mos2MO

 @BD3VS4CWorking Family from Arizona  answered…2mos2MO

The first four years of college/university or trade/tech schools should be free tuition. Anything after the first four years should be paid for by the student, and their ability to get grants and LOW interest student loans.

 @BD2NW4F from Arizona  answered…2mos2MO

No, but scholarship brackets should be available to assist lower and middle classes.

 @BD22WH5 from Arizona  answered…2mos2MO

 @BCZKGDN from Arizona  answered…2mos2MO

 @BCYKJV6No Labels from Arizona  answered…2mos2MO

No, but instead look into any means of making those institutions more affordable and accessible. Consider incentivizing not-for-profit educational institutions and disincentivizing for-profit ones.

 @BCWHFLQ from Arizona  answered…2mos2MO

Yes but if kids fail through lack of effort this money should be refunded through a tax levy until its paid off. In general a well educated society is safer and more prosperous; its good for health of the country to enable all kids to prepare themselves appropriately for adulting and contributing.

 @BCLGH47Democrat from Arizona  answered…2mos2MO

Universities as a whole should be more accessible to anyone seeking an education by whatever means necessary within a reasonable guide.

 @BCLB3WS from Arizona  answered…2mos2MO

Yes, but only for those that financially need it, but also have done the work and put in the effort to qualify for the full funds to attend major colleges and continue their education for that.

 @BCJSSJR from Arizona  answered…3mos3MO

No, but make tuition more affordable for students to prevent increases of debt and limit the interest rates so students can actually get out of debt if they need to get a loan.

 @BCBB88S from Arizona  answered…3mos3MO

Yes, If the student or person trying to attend a four-year college or university has gone above and beyond in school and as a citizen but have

 @BBQXD5Z from Arizona  answered…3mos3MO

the education system is so low in money here in the states if there was a way we could fund more money to education I belive it would be possible to pay for most tuitions with certain requirements that students should meet. (like maintaining gardes or something)

 @BBHNNW3  from Arizona  answered…4mos4MO

no, and the four yea collages and universities should stop scamming and making us pay so much, should stop acting like its the only way your going to make a living, and if someone does take out a loan than the interest rates need to come down and be reasonable.

 @BBG3BXS from Arizona  answered…4mos4MO

No, but provide more scholarships opportunties for low-income students and lower interest rates for student loans

 @BBC6QPG from Arizona  answered…4mos4MO

I believe that state provided, higher education, should be free however private education should be the responsibility of the people going and procuring. Though the federal government should make it easier to procure further education.

 @BB8PHHCIndependent from Arizona  answered…4mos4MO

Yes, but have requirements to maintain funding or you have to pay the remainder of the tuition previously agreed on

 @BB8N42Z from Arizona  answered…4mos4MO

Secondary schools should not be privatized, period. Subsidizing private institutions only fuels exploitation.

 @BB5MWVQConstitution from Arizona  answered…4mos4MO

No, in fact government spending in sectors like the military and education have created massive price increases in those sectors, caused them to be dependent on government, and have often had very poor objective results.

 @B9ZWSTG from Arizona  answered…4mos4MO

Government should subsidize colleges, and tuition should be cheap enough to pay off quickly or immediately.

 @B9YRQK9 from Arizona  answered…4mos4MO

They should pay for tuition only if it is for a public and or already government funded university or college.

 @B9YR7M4 from Arizona  answered…4mos4MO

Yes, but only for degrees for society's needs (doctors, teachers, nurses), and with strict oversight and requirements, such as tuition reimbursement after so many years in the role.

 @B9WMSDF from Arizona  answered…4mos4MO

They should pass laws to lower prices of colleges collectively, to make it more affordable for everyone.

 @B9TQBSN from Arizona  answered…4mos4MO

No but instead offer tax breaks or incentives for companies to pay for colleges for students under their program field and offer 4 year tax breaks for each college student they hire

 @B9T64TP from Arizona  answered…5mos5MO

I feel they should allow more scholarship opportunities for low-income students and job opportunities to help pay for tuition as well.

 @B9R3T29 from Arizona  answered…5mos5MO

Yes, but it needs to be based off of proven financial need, we don't need to give rich kids free college if they can pay.

 @B9PL23L from Arizona  answered…5mos5MO

Their are many other forms of tuition payment besides government spending (exp. Military). Because of this the government need not have to pay for tuition.

 @B9LV3T3 from Arizona  answered…5mos5MO

For the benefit of the indivisual and the education for the individual get rid of spending. Information should be free not bought.

 @B9JT3CM from Arizona  answered…5mos5MO

Make a program for people who desperately need it, but are capable for it. Not just give it to someone who doesn't care and would just drop out.

 @B9JCB39 from Arizona  answered…5mos5MO

I believe that the government should pay for Degrees that benefit our society. especially specialties such as nursing, aviation, and teacher.

 @B9BKPVS  from Arizona  answered…5mos5MO

Yes, but with conditions such as active passing of classes and generally successful performance toward a degree

 @B993FDPWomen’s Equality from Arizona  answered…5mos5MO

If a high qualification is met by a student in terms of doing really well in school, they should be given the privalage to have college/university payed off for their hard earned effort.

 @B97C2LQNo Labels  from Arizona  answered…5mos5MO

Government should allow equal and fair opportunity for bachelors degrees to ensure that the decided major is what they truly want, and then provide scholarships for those who want to move forward with their education.

 @B939BG9Independent from Arizona  answered…6mos6MO

Yes but only for certain degrees that actually provide for society we should also work on making college less expensive

 @B8MR792 from Arizona  answered…7mos7MO

no and yes because they should pay for the people they need and they do because they give them scholarships and they should not because you are the one that is going to learn not the collage so they should not pay

 @B8MBQ9Z from Arizona  answered…7mos7MO

I think tuition at colleges and universities should be lowered significantly creating more opportunities for education as well as more scholarship opportunities.

 @B8LNPMJ from Arizona  answered…7mos7MO

The federal government should provide some scholarships but only for the highly merited and qualified.

 @B8LHFYYDemocrat from Arizona  answered…7mos7MO

I think government should pay for the full tuition of students who actually met all the collage requirements regardless of student immigration or economic status.

 @B8L36HJ from Arizona  answered…7mos7MO

Yes, because it adds incentives to people getting out of highschool and potentially increasing the low market for more technical jobs and boosting the economy.

 @B8KZN8LRepublican  from Arizona  answered…7mos7MO

I believe more scholarship oppurtunites should be opened and decreased rates based off of personal and parental income. Paying for everybodys tuition in full would raise our tax rates for even the people who dont plan on attending university

 @B8JZ7ZQ  from Arizona  answered…7mos7MO

Only certain majors should be covered, specifically ones that help the economy grow. There should also be an approval process based on grades, criminal record, and financial status of the student.

 @B8HGXH7 from Arizona  answered…7mos7MO

No, but it should add more scholarship opportunities for low income students and require institutions to lower their tuition rates.

 @B8CBTJ3 from Arizona  answered…7mos7MO

No, the government needs to create regulation for universities keeping them from profiting so much off of students

 @B8C82Q6 from Arizona  answered…7mos7MO

They should pay for a generic associates degree and provide lower interest rates for student loans if students want to specialize in something.

 @B8BGBWD from Arizona  answered…7mos7MO

No, but put caps on tuition amounts, provide lower interest rates for student loans, and provide more scholarship opportunities for low-income students.

 @B89VK6Y from Arizona  answered…7mos7MO

Find ways to decrease tuition and/or provide more opportunities for financial aid, scholarships, and very low interest student loans

 @B84XTTZ from Arizona  answered…8mos8MO

Yes, for Veterans who can provide that they can hold at least a 3.0 overall GPA from an undergrad 2 year college Degree regardless of they switch to a different Major into a graduate degree.

 @B84WMCQ  from Arizona  answered…8mos8MO

No for now. But we should definitely lower interest rates and provide more scholarship opportunities. If that doesn’t work, then maybe try the Goverment paying partial tuition .

 @B7Z3Y7B from Arizona  answered…8mos8MO

College should be less money overall. Students shouldn't have to suffer in debt. College is forced to much for it to be really expensive.

 @B7XQ48N from Arizona  answered…8mos8MO

Tuition for higher education should be as low as it possibly can so students may pursue it in a well organized space.

 @B7WH9XHPeace and Freedom from Arizona  answered…8mos8MO

Yes, if paying for people who plan to stay at the college all four years and for low-income students

 @B7HY7QM from Arizona  answered…9mos9MO

Yes but for scholarships and depending on what a student is going into at the university, not to every single student there, because that may affect funding and the people attending, and how many may attend just because the government is paying instead of them.

 @B79S8YY from Arizona  answered…9mos9MO

I think they should worry more about financially actually doing what people want instead of doing things to make the entire state walk on ice with others.

 @B775NQF from Arizona  answered…9mos9MO

Yes, but if they are unable to fully cover the cost then they should at least lower tuition and make it more affordable and accessible

 @B76NTL7 from Arizona  answered…9mos9MO

Yes, but only for students who prove that they can commit to college and have a future plan for themselves.

 @B75SDXCNo Labels from Arizona  answered…9mos9MO

The federal government should pay for those individuals that commit to a term of federal service in the military, education, or some other capacity

 @B73NN64 from Arizona  answered…9mos9MO

Yes, in a way that the government can help those who’s families are not able to help them, if student wishes to go to collage.

 @B6T7J73 from Arizona  answered…9mos9MO

I think it should just be more affordable instead of being thousands upon thousands of dollars, since most people don't have enough without having to take out a loan which leaves them in a lot of debt.

 @B6RPLF5 from Arizona  answered…10mos10MO

I feel as if colleges shouldn't cost a much as they do, its down right discusting how much they cost

 @B6QGDRL from Arizona  answered…10mos10MO

Only for me, that would be really great, probably would cause a lot of problems and such, however, I'd like free college

 @B6PVLJW from Arizona  answered…10mos10MO

Yes, and higher education should be free or at least heavily regulated by the government to ensure prices are affordable

 @B6P3D9X from Arizona  answered…10mos10MO

we need more scholarships to be availible and rates that dictate how we get in to go down with it csting less.

 @B6MS9DS from Arizona  answered…10mos10MO

make there be a pay max they can charge to go to college so the students can live without being broke and still getting education

 @B6GTDDJ from Arizona  answered…10mos10MO

Yes and No because you want to go to school after finishing high school, so you should be responsible for some of the tuition while the government pays for part too because they have jobs that require degrees.

 @B6GHM9Q from Arizona  answered…10mos10MO

The college should be responsible for tracking people down for their student loans instead of the government so that they stop hiking prices

 @B6FZXJXSocialist from Arizona  answered…10mos10MO

I think the government should assist with all programs, loans and tuition. Tuition is already expensive on its own, especially when you compare certain programs and expected salary upon completion.

 @B6FZF8KNo Labels from Arizona  answered…10mos10MO

yes, but students must demonstrate financial need and must maintain a 3.5 or higher GPA to continue to receive free tuition. If student fails a course and needs to repeat it, it may be repeated only once at 1/2 the expense on responsibility of the student.
