Lower the interest rates for student loans and provide more scholarship opportunities for everyone attending colleges equally

 @8QW9NXT from Utah  answered…5yrs5Y

No, but provide lower interest rates for student loans and provide more scholarship opportunities for all students

 @9DPGJF4 from Utah  answered…3yrs3Y

Only in the case of if a scholarship is earned, or the student cannot afford the schooling, people should be given as many opportunities as possible to be successful

 @8YD9B6Y from Utah  answered…4yrs4Y

No, but provide lower interest rates for student loans, but provide more scholarship opportunities for low-income students.

 @6YHYNZQ from Utah  answered…6yrs6Y

No, but provide lower interest rates for student loans and greater funding for low-income students

 @BDS35YS from Utah  answered…3wks3W

Nationalize colleges and standardize costs and salaries, then provide education to anyone willing to put in the work.

 @BDQJJD3 from Utah  answered…3wks3W

No, the entire reason college is so expensive is because of government involvement. Because colleges know then that they can increase their expenses and it ends up causing more people to rely on the government in order to get through college and putting them in debt. I want no government involvement with colleges.

 @BDJWWS9 from Utah  answered…1mo1MO

 @BDHYLJ4 from Utah  answered…1mo1MO

maybe instead of sending 78 billion dollars to israel to kill innocent people because of false propaganda and scare tactics we could actually help out american citizens that need some aid

 @BDF5DKT from Utah  answered…1mo1MO

no, however I think that they should lower the cost of tuition to help encourage more people to go to college and stay out of debt.

 @BDDGYZJ from Utah  answered…1mo1MO

 @BDDC4HD from Utah  answered…1mo1MO

 @BDD47PB from Utah  answered…1mo1MO

 @BDCWB4X from Utah  answered…1mo1MO

yes but under certain circumstances. I think there should be set regulations on who gets it.

 @BD8K85VIndependent from Utah  answered…1mo1MO

No, but regulate the maximum tuition cost allowed to be charged for each credit.

 @BD7GYVD from Utah  answered…1mo1MO

I think the government should give that opportunity for everyone to get help with paying for college If they want the opportunity. because it is very hard for people who's parents have a lot of money to get help but a lot of times those kids are paying for all of there college as well. I think they could also help poor people too but make it more of a form instead of based off of income.

 @BD6TZTF  from Utah  answered…2mos2MO

If a student has a specific scholarship or GI bill then yes the federal government should pay for tuition at four year college

 @BD4HH6R from Utah  answered…2mos2MO

yes, only if they have no financial support from family and can prove it, especially if they don't quallifiy for pell grants but their parents arn't paying

 @BD2V8KB from Utah  answered…2mos2MO

the cost of college should be reduced and people should get scholarships based on GPA and there should be no interest rates on tuition.

 @BD2457N  from Utah  answered…2mos2MO

 @BD24G4S from Utah  answered…2mos2MO

There needs to be something that forces students to be tied to their education and often times if they don't have something to lose, they'll quit the education. If we can achieve this with government funding, then yes.

 @BCYMBHZ from Utah  answered…2mos2MO

No, you agree to take out a loan of any kind, you agree to pay it back according to the terms of the loan.

 @BCY5FLCDemocrat from Utah  answered…2mos2MO

Provide tuition free classes and training at the community college level and offer scholarships and FAFSA to four-year colleges

 @BCXLKTX from Utah  answered…2mos2MO

Add better funding for kids who pay for there own collage no matter what there family makes.

 @BCXLJC2 from Utah  answered…2mos2MO

Scholarhsips should become more available to students with a high performance and educational goal.

 @BCXCYC2 from Utah  answered…2mos2MO

that really depends, if they have more the enouph money then yes but if they dosnt i would like them to work twards its

 @BCWSVM3 from Utah  answered…2mos2MO

State and federal governments should provide online bachelor degrees that are either free or low cost.

 @BCWR6K4  from Utah  answered…2mos2MO

 @BCVJF2D from Utah  answered…2mos2MO

No, we should shift our focus away from four-year colleges and universities entirely. We should adopt a European style education system.

 @BCV77VY from Utah  answered…2mos2MO

yes but should only pay for degrees that are useful or has more control over the education

 @BCSTPDL from Utah  answered…2mos2MO

Yes, but depending on how wealthy the student is, can determine how much help they give. Less wealthy are given more help, more wealthy are given less help.

 @BCR39WR from Utah  answered…2mos2MO

No, the government should also end all programs that give funding to higher education.

 @BCPY5G6Republican from Utah  answered…2mos2MO

 @BCN3XN8 from Utah  answered…2mos2MO

 @BBTZ4XC from Utah  answered…3mos3MO

maybe partial but that will make taxes go up so, maybe provide more scholarships and lower intrest rates.

 @BBTXR63 from Utah  answered…3mos3MO

No but lower the interest rates for student loans and have more scholarship opportunities for everyone

 @BBTG7LY from Utah  answered…3mos3MO

No, College tuition should be handled exclusively by private commercial industry, no government involvement should be allowed.

 @BBF2DJ2 from Utah  answered…4mos4MO

yes but only two years then pay half for the next two, and then half it again to teach financial responsibility

 @B9XSXMY from Utah  answered…4mos4MO

Government should provide free public school options and set limits to private school tuition costs and student loan interest rates.

 @B9SJ6FY from Utah  answered…5mos5MO

Yes, but instead of paying the 4 years, get on a plan for each semester, so students can't drop out and then all that money goes wasted since they didn't do all 4 years.

 @B9S9BQG from Utah  answered…5mos5MO

yes, but pay for each semester at a time so if the student wants to change schools or do something else the government wont be wasting money.

 @B9MHDMQSocialist from Utah  answered…5mos5MO

Yes but only for state universities and also give the option to pay for trade schooling if the person doesn't want a four-year degree

 @B9JP7MG from Utah  answered…5mos5MO

provide plenty of funding and lower interest rates and more scholarship opportunities and student aid

 @B9JN5WB from Utah  answered…5mos5MO

If the person is able to pass college should be payed for but if they drop out they should pay for how many years or semesters.

 @B9CXRSD from Utah  answered…5mos5MO

When Goverment get involved with paying for education the college take advantage by making education more cosly, the only one who end up benefeting are the college and university. becouse in the long run individuo who go to college will end up been tax payer. I think goverment should implement reulation that prevent colleges and university from charging so much. and give same opportunity to all low or hight incomearn student to earn scolarship.

 @B936WYQ from Utah  answered…6mos6MO

Government should at least pay for professors/faculty salaries to off load those costs off of students

 @B8ZXG6F from Utah  answered…6mos6MO

I would say provide lower interest rates for student loans and provide more scholarship opportunities.

 @B8X6GST from Utah  answered…6mos6MO

No, but provide more financial aid or scholarship opportunities for all students, and lower interest rates

 @B8WVHZH from Utah  answered…6mos6MO

I think they should make it so students don't need to take all of these different classes. I think that college students should only take the classes they want making it cheaper and more affordable for people

 @B8VCT39 from Utah  answered…6mos6MO

They shouldn't because people can take advantage of that, but provide more opportunities for those with low income to get into college easily, and with less costs.

 @B8V3FW8 from Utah  answered…6mos6MO

No, but create more opportunities for students and find ways to make higher education accessible to everyone.

 @B8RR83M from Utah  answered…6mos6MO

No, I don't think for everybody, I think only for people that need the money for college, and that grew up poor and what a better life.

 @B8R8ZTJRepublican from Utah  answered…6mos6MO

I think college prices definitely should be lower but the education still needs to be taken seriously

 @B8L6RD3 from Utah  answered…7mos7MO

Yes, but only for specific majors such as STEM degrees and/or degrees that have substantial impact on the economy and government.

 @B8KNTHP from Utah  answered…7mos7MO

The price of tuition along with housing and supplies is expensive. Certain classes should not be required for a degree, like PE or an art class. They should lower the price of tuition and lower the interest rate on student loans because thousands of people are drowning in student loans because of crippling interest rates.

 @B8GHM27 from Utah  answered…7mos7MO

They should give it to rewarding students who come from low income or prove that they deserve low cost or free college.

 @B8FNNBT from Utah  answered…7mos7MO

Fix the issues making college so expensive while providing more academic based scholarships and lower interest rates for student loans if they perform well academically in college

 @B8F4CNC from Utah  answered…7mos7MO

I feel like kids who come from a poor background and don't have that much money should have some of it covered, I think so.

 @B8C2R7Y from Utah  answered…7mos7MO

Research and address in a timely and effective manner the root cause of the cost of universities, while also providing academic scholarships and not compromising the integrity of the universities by trying to cut corners to show improvement in cost

 @B8BDZVZ from Utah  answered…7mos7MO

No, they should instead provide better education on after high school choices and better financial education.

 @B83X3PZ from Utah  answered…8mos8MO

They should, but the cost of receiving a higher education should be lower and more accessible in the first place.

 @B832BWYRepublican from Utah  answered…8mos8MO

The government can help with financial aide for college, but there should be a limit as to what people can receive.

 @B82DPRL from Utah  answered…8mos8MO

I am open to states funding this. If they think they can tell public universities what they can and can't each, then they better start funding it (I am somewhat sarcastic because I live in a state that is restricting freedom of speech at universities). I am less optimistic about federal funding right now though I think it is necessary.

 @B7ZL9DS from Utah  answered…8mos8MO

No, but colleges and universities should lower tuition and they should lower interest rates for student loans

 @B7XM5C8Peace and Freedom from Utah  answered…8mos8MO

They should pay half the price or half the year, for example if its a two year college pay for a year if its a two year college pay 2 years

 @B7N5SDP from Utah  answered…8mos8MO

Yes, if college were free, the US would be a much more educated (and therefore safer, more efficient, richer, etc.) country.

 @B7KTN9C from Utah  answered…8mos8MO

No, but there should be programs that provide free secondary education at community colleges/state-run universities

 @B77CDQGRepublican from Utah  answered…9mos9MO

I say depending on the Major the student is going to study. If its something like medicine for people or animals, yes cover at least SOME. If its over art or something like that. Then they don't need to cover as much because isn't those already cheaper? Like, the more expensive the courses are, the more funding should be covered.

 @B7438QW from Utah  answered…9mos9MO

Provide low interest rates for students and regulate tuition costs so universities won’t increase costs unnecessarily

 @B72K9GV from Utah  answered…9mos9MO

Yes, but government should only help with public universities/colleges depending on the person’s circumstances

 @B6Y2L9Q from Utah  answered…9mos9MO

Yes they should for lower income families that wouldn't be able to have the money, but they should provide more scholarships for higher income students also

 @B6N983L from Utah  answered…10mos10MO

Yes and no. They should offer more scholarship opportunities, lower interest rates on student loans, and help pay a small part of tuition.

 @B6LGFC8 from Utah  answered…10mos10MO

I feel like I am in the middle with this because I feel that kids should work for money for tuition but if they get a full ride then that make sense.

 @B6KR84S from Utah  answered…10mos10MO

high school should be enough to be successful in America. If it is not then adding more education will not likely solve any of our economic issues. So no but also yes as we can subsidize public university tuition depending on income like we currently do.

Private universities should never get tuition assistance.

 @B5VQQPQ from Utah  answered…12mos12MO

Colleges should not be allowed to make education so expensive. Instead of having someone else pay for it incentivize the colleges to lower prices.

 @B55FLT8 from Utah  answered…1yr1Y

I think the old system of grants was sufficient. The old loan system could be tweaked for improved effectiveness as well.

 @B54SN59 from Utah  answered…1yr1Y

The amounts paid to such universities is exorbitant, and it should be subject to regulation to allow more people to attend, but also more trade schools and apprenticeships should be explored and normalized.

 @B53SND6 from Utah  answered…1yr1Y

Should only pay for certain majors like engineering or or something in the medical field other majors should be at a capped price and the person can pay for it through scholarships or loans that aren’t astronomical

 @B53GC78 from Utah  answered…1yr1Y

I believe the government should look into ways to make college more affordable with more scholarship opportunities to low income students and lower interest rates with maybe lower prices on college.

 @B4VYPF3 from Utah  answered…1yr1Y

No, but I think more scholarship opportunities, much lower interest rates should be provided and school should be cheaper.

 @B4VG6F6 from Utah  answered…1yr1Y

Pay full tuition for community and/or government owned universities and colleges, but private tuition does not need to be subsidized by the government.

 @B4TV3MLDemocrat from Utah  answered…1yr1Y

No, but provide financial aid to Students based on how much money they make, rather than how much their parents make.

 @B4S2V6S from Utah  answered…1yr1Y

No, but public colleges and universities should receive federal funding, while private universities should not receive federal funding.

 @B4PFGCS from Utah  answered…1yr1Y

When absolutely necessary for someone’s benefit like if they are disabled and they actually need help
