I dont understand the question

 @EmmaDerGroße from Minnesota  commented…10mos10MO

the question is should we continue to support WHO. WHO is a organization formed by the UN to help fight against disease. WHO also gives out the most reliable health studies for free to doctors and citizens alike. WHO was the main force when it came to fighting COVID-19.

governments part of the UN are expected to give funds to WHO, and the question states on should we increase, decrease, etc on funds to the WHO.

for me personally, I believe that we should give WHO more funds to prevent another COVID

 @3VVX7XPDemocratanswered…5yrs5Y

After a full investigation is conducted on how WHO handled the COVID crisis, we should adjust our contribution accordingly.

 @8MS85BCDemocrat from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

We should only contribute comparable to everyone else, but this would be so that we have more funding for national and local programs.

 @9FB6ZJ8Democrat from Wisconsin  answered…2yrs2Y

No, not entirely, however we have many resources and we can share what we have.

tie our funding percentage to match the average funding from top 30 economies of the world.

Yes because diseases are more mobile now than ever before and we are all on this planet together.

Yes but decrease the amount and increase funding for curing diseases diseases are just infieror cells that need to attack kill in order to survive

 @8YPKDLJ from New Jersey  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, however funds should come alongside those of other nations in order to encourage more funding from others.

 @8YJS7BWDemocrat from California  answered…4yrs4Y

Some funding should go to the WHO, but with focus on community/state programs.

If the organization proves to help then only a little but if not don't fund it

 @8XFDSH4 from Wyoming  answered…4yrs4Y

yes, as long as it's paid for federally and the burden doesn't rest on the citizens.

Maybe, depending on how well the World Health Organization is doing at the time.

Yes but not just monetarily but by offering research, specialist expertise and access to technology and vaccines not just money.

 @8RZVQYCDemocrat from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only if the WHO allows scientists to visit Wuhan and cooperate with the Chinese government in discovering the origin of COVID-19

Again, I do not know anything about the WHO and feel uncomfortable answering.

I think we need to handle our own health care system first before we really invest in helping other countries

At this moment the WHO have been showed to be irresponsible, not all of those who work there but the top elite. Especially with the whole fiasco of them covering China from the corona virus even though China lied initially.

Move to create an alternative international health organization with democratic allies (i.e. Canada, EU, Japan, South Korea, etc.)

 @8QBP466Democratfrom Maine  answered…5yrs5Y

No, It has been corrupted by Chinese influence. Make a World health organization with private funding.

 @8PZWW48Democrat from California  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but give an amount relative to the number of people benefitting from it in the country

Yes, but lower our contribution amount until the WHO: a) recognizes Taiwan as a member state, and b) stops giving China preferential treatment

 @8DB4KSJ from Michigan  answered…5yrs5Y

No, the WHO should be a collaboration of information between the worlds best and brightest scientists, doctors, etc...

 @8D7TH9GDemocrat from Maryland  answered…5yrs5Y

First let's pay off any debts owed. Then contribute a sensible amount to the WHO

 @8CMFQXWSocialist from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

The government should pay into the WHO but not completely fund, WHO should be funded by the collection of all world governments

 @8C54T85Democrat from California  answered…5yrs5Y

You should not put all of your eggs in one basket. The world may benefit from the government implementing a system that can distribute funding over a wider area. You never know where a breakthrough may come from. Not to mention all the money going to one place encourages corruption.

If the government funned the world health organization we would be living in the future, we need the as much money as we can to get our hospitals bigger and better then they have ever been. We would have much better equipment and a lot better and nicer people working for us.

 @8V2GNH8 from Missouri  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes but dont fund it too much to the point that they are throwing money away otherwise fund national and local programs they should do that anyways, as long as the WHO is doing something good
