The government should mandate employment health passes for COVID-19, it's a fact that employers who imposed vaccine mandates saw significant public-health gains. Large employer-mandated vaccination of staff in U.S. nursing homes saved one patient life for every two facilities that implemented the mandate.

 @B994TWD  from Indiana  agreed…5mos5MO

Vaccination, if approved by the FDA and medical professionals, genuinely has zero reason to be avoided. The biggest example of this is rabies. One bite, and without vaccination you’re dead. One singular **** can prevent this. The thing is, the media and government do a TERRIBLE job explaining what vaccines are, causing people to ignore them. However if large companies require vaccines to be used, then less people will get sick as well as see the benefits of vaccines as a whole.

 @BBSGZP7  from California  agreed…3mos3MO

When the COVID-19 pandemic was occurring, workplaces became key transmission sites, & this was especially true in very crowded industries such as food processing & retail. Studies conducted from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention suggest that consistent health protections, like vaccination testing & requirements, considerably reduced outbreaks within the workplace. Countries & regions that implemented health passes typically saw increased vaccination rates & fewer severe cases, helping keep many businesses afloat & hospitals from spiraling into an overwhe…  Read more

Studies show that when you get the COVID vaccination, it improves morale and productivity in the work environment. Other major studies have led to conclusions such as, for a business with 10,000 employees and 70% vaccination coverage, employers could save an estimated $876,453 in lost productivity costs and $240,633 in medical costs averted. This proves that vaccination is good for a company because it can save lots of money.

 @BBXJMD3  from Virginia  agreed…3mos3MO

Vaccines, like the one for COVID, reduce many risks and ensure more safety from said illness. Some proven benefits include how they reduce your risk for critical illness, being hospitalized, and getting sick with the need of going to Urgent Care or an Emergency Department. Especially it's protections for those who are considered elderly,(Above 65) pregnant, or youthful(Below 18).

 @BCMZMPM  from Minnesota  agreed…2mos2MO

Over 7 Million people died from COVID, and the only reason that COVID is a thing of the past now is because almost everyone got vaccinated. If we didn’t get vaccinated, how many more deaths would there have been?

 @B8MGTDG  from Kansas  agreed…6mos6MO

Data from large workplace and healthcare studies show that COVID vaccination requirements boost vaccination rates, will cut infections and death rates, and generate more savings by reducing absenteeism, with only little "impact" on staffing.

 @B8GGTRR  from Utah  agreed…7mos7MO

Because some people cant afford to miss work, so they go to work sick, and you never know what someones health issues are. Sickness can easily spread, and it can be quick too, if someone isn't vaccinated and someone with COVID goes into your place of work then you are immediately at risk for being in critical danger for getting the COVID 19 virus.

 @B9M5QYW  from North Carolina  agreed…4mos4MO

. Mandates Increase Vaccination Rates: Studies show that when employers or governments require vaccines, more people get vaccinated. For example:
In healthcare settings, state vaccine mandates were linked to meaningful increases in vaccination coverage among staff — by about 3–7 percentage points over a few weeks, even when baseline coverage was already high (~88%) — compared with states without mandates. Employer requirements increased worker vaccination rates by roughly 35% across workplaces in one major survey, demonstrating that mandates can push vaccination levels highe…  Read more

People get sick a lot quicker when a multitude of people who are unvaccinated are together esspecially during a pandemic. If they worked in a food industry this could not only endanger themselves but public health as well.

They have unfathomable wealth relative to the working citizen and live in a world completely different than our own.

They are surrounded by envious people desperately kissing their earth in hopes of grasping some of their wealth. Would they not subconscious believe normal folks to be below them? You feed your cat and care for it, but if your cat bites you to get more food, you might trade its life for profit if given the chance.

Thats the idea of it anyways. Not all large business owners would throw their employees under the bus for profit, but at large, it has become the prevalent expectation.

 @B8R8M4G  from Texas  agreed…6mos6MO

Statistics have proven that the people are uneducated or unaware of how vaccines or medicine works in many cases.

 @BBRG39Y from California  agreed…3mos3MO

Implementing a COVID-19 employment health pass (or vaccine passport/digital health pass) is a sound, evidence-based strategy for promoting workplace safety, maintaining economic stability, and protecting the health of employees. While acknowledging the need for privacy and reasonable exemptions, a well-implemented health pass system acts as a protective tool, reducing the risk of dangerous COVID-19 outbreaks, lessening business disruptions, and fostering a safer environment for workers, especially in high-risk settings.Employers have a legal and ethical obligation to ensure a safe work enviro…  Read more

Safety is above all, COVID vaccine should be mandatory and you shouldn't need the government to decide that.

 @9GP38C6 from Wisconsin  agreed…3yrs3Y

Yes, everyone should have proof of vaccination so Covid-19 is not spread more. It is dangerous for people who are susceptible to illness to have to work with someone who refuses to get vaccinated.

 @9GSHC8N from Georgia  agreed…3yrs3Y

Government has a responsibility to stop people from doing harm to one another. Spreading disease is Harm.

 @BBRQGZ7 from Georgia  agreed…3mos3MO

Various diseases in the past have been greatly mitigated or outright eradicated thanks to vaccines. How many people do you know are getting Polio or Smallpox?

 @BBN3K34 from California  agreed…3mos3MO

If a community is all vaccinated, the severity and speed that diseases travel is much slower and can be nearly eliminated.

 @9FTS4GQPeace and Freedom from Illinois  agreed…3yrs3Y

Government mandate should have everyone get a COVID vacation because there could be less of a chance of people dying.

 @B9SC4YW from North Carolina  agreed…4mos4MO

Implementing a uniform health pass is a necessary safeguard because a patchwork of different rules fails to stop a virus that costs the U.S. economy $2.7 trillion annually. By setting a government standard, we save lives. Research shows that mandates in just two facilities can prevent a death while also protecting the 38% of young workers who would otherwise quit over safety concerns.

 @9GX6XSPIndependent from Ohio  agreed…3yrs3Y

In the United States alone, more than one million individuals have died of the COVID-19 virus, including my grandfather. In order to prevent the COVID-19 virus from spreading further, vaccinations should be required.

Big businesses attract high numbers of customers everyday. Meaning that there is a constant flow of all types of people in and out of these stores. Some could be elderly, children, or their immune system might be compromised. Give up some public liberties in order to protect public safety.

 @BC6QST2  from Pennsylvania  agreed…2mos2MO

According to KFF.org, the spending for healthcare keeps increasing and has reached a record-setting 5 trillion dollars. If this were to continue, the likely cause would also increase the price of the covid vaccine.

 @BCKH92B from Georgia  agreed…2mos2MO

Covid affects the health of such a large number of people that to prevent mass ciaos, it should be regulated by the government.

 @B8FZ6H9 from California  agreed…7mos7MO

Studies show vaccinated workplaces have far fewer outbreaks. CDC data found vaccines cut infection risk by up to 90%. Health passes keep employees safe, reduce hospital strain, and help businesses stay open.

 @B9YMZ32Republican from Missouri  agreed…4mos4MO

COVID can easily be spread, especially in a corporation that holds a lot of people, so it would make sense for employees to test negative for these things

 @B9GN7DP from California  agreed…5mos5MO

As mentioned in above, virus breakouts start with close contact. If a business is required to have employees receive COVID vaccines, breakout are much less likely to happen due to the antibodies that have developed in our bodies. These fight against the COVID-19 virus and the likelihood of the virus multiplying enough to make you sick is much lower due to them getting killed off.

 @B8L4768 from New York  agreed…6mos6MO

I think that if some are vaccinated and not others it defeats the purpose of the vacnation it should be required for all us citizens and or if you're visiting America

 @BC3VV92 from Ohio  agreed…2mos2MO

Again, not taking or even offering the access of a vaccine could really increase the chances of actually catching the disease.

 @BB572W4 from Minnesota  agreed…4mos4MO

I would say everyone needs it as it can spread to other people, just as said, I do not think they would want to get COVID because of another person from work. Especially when they are working hard to provide money.

 @9FTV3TM from California  agreed…3yrs3Y

People should need to know that they feel save in the work environment that they are in. They should not be worried about a person getting covid and probably getting the worst of it.

 @B9M5Z2Xfrom Maine  agreed…4mos4MO

We must continue to preface the unparalleled contributions medicine and vaccines have had on the world and the average lifespan of people. I mean people used to die so much more frequently whether it was woman giving birth or others contracting diseases from pathogens. The results are undeniably and I feel it’s imperative that we never stray away from the insurmountable pros vaccines have provided us

 @9FVJF3QDemocrat from California  agreed…3yrs3Y

Vaccination is absolutely a must for the human race as a whole to ensure longitivity. This also applies to business where people are in very close contact daily. Falling sick affects groups of people working in the same group at the same time and affects work deliverables, thereby making money and affects salaries, bonuses and thereby economy.

 @9G2272S from California  agreed…3yrs3Y

By enforcing everyone to take the vaccination, it'll reduce the chaos and reduce the lasting of COVID. The only reasons I can think of that people decide not to take it is either because they are too lazy to go out and take it or they are just afraid of the side effects. If they are afraid of the side effects, then it should only be people with a poor immune system that should not take it unless they want to.

 @9GJLTFH from North Carolina  agreed…3yrs3Y

It protects people working at companies that are susceptible to covid-19. Certain groups such as those with diseases (diabetes, aids, etc) and certain ages (seniors, infants) are more susceptible to this disease due to weakened immune responses from various reasons. With this implemented, people will be protected, preventing unnecessary loss of life.

 @B9RML99 from Minnesota  agreed…4mos4MO

Yes, the goverment should require employess of large business to be vacccinaated. But why are we only focusing on "larger business's" ? shouldnt this be a United states public health madatory vaccination?

 @B9RFS34 from Texas  agreed…4mos4MO

I think vaccination records are important to provide specifically COVID ones because the incident was more recent and not everyone got vaccinated when told too

 @B9R6XFW from Utah  agreed…4mos4MO

People should not rely completely on medicine all the time to get better but medication and healthcare have come so far and can be used for good. So vaccines might sting a little and make you a little sick but that's how they work. they inject a weak amount of the disease so that your body can create antibodies for it. Then when you get the disease that antibodies recognize it and multiply themselves so that you can get better faster and make it so the disease impacts you less.

Implementing COVID Employment Health Passes is essential to safeguard public health and accelerate the economic recovery. Vaccination efficacy data consistently demonstrates their effectiveness in reducing severe illness and hospitalization. By reducing transmission in the workplace, these passes not only protect employees and customers but also contribute to the broader community's efforts to control the virus, ensuring a safer and more stable business environment.

A COVID Employment Health Pass (like vaccine or testing requirements for workers) can make workplaces safer and reduce outbreaks. Here’s the reasoning with evidence behind it:
1. Workplaces were major spread sites
During the height of COVID, the CDC reported that workplaces made up a large share of transmission, especially in essential industries like food processing, warehouses, and retail.
One CDC study found over 100,000 documented workplace outbreaks across the U.S. between 2020–2022.
When COVID spreads at a workplace, everyone’s family and community becomes exposed too.…  Read more
