No, because it will decrease college’s competition on selecting students that they need need which will lead to and increase of demand but lack of choices
College shouldn't be competitive in the first place; it's not a sport, you go there to learn. There is literally no downside to having a well-educated populace. Education should not be a for-profit industry.
