Could you share an instance when you felt market competition was both beneficial and fair, or a time when it wasn't, and why?

 @9KYTZ4B from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

market coemption is fair, it doesn't force us to buy one. it shows that things are fair.

 @9KYTXNXIndependent from Virginia  answered…2yrs2Y

Like when PS5 and Xbox drop consoles every few years and the market values goes up for both

 @9KYTPHH from Connecticut  answered…2yrs2Y

Market competition is fair and beneficial to the economy because it forces the businesses to do better and improves the overall economy and stock market.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

How would your perception of success change if all achievements in society were purely determined by market performance?

 @9KYX5TS from Connecticut  answered…2yrs2Y

Heavily as certain successful people are only that way because of how much money they have, not how successful they were in the national and international markets.

 @9KZFKR6Peace and Freedom from California  commented…2yrs2Y

I totally agree with your answer. Sadly it has been proven that money has a bigger influence on people than their actual performance and outcome.

 @9KYWZXKRepublican from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Indifferent, this seems more like political merchantilism and i favor a free economy where corporations deal in trade, but not in political decisions unless it directly effects their ability to maintain trade

Do you believe every individual has the same opportunity to succeed in an entirely free market, or are some at a disadvantage?

 @9HFNY52 from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

Some people are at a disadvantage, but it takes hard work and dedication as well as education to succeed. Some of the best business people today came from nothing. That isn't to say, however, that there are blatant unequal opportunities such as income and instability.

 @9HFNZ9C from California  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, I believe that every individual has the same opportunity to succeed in a free market.

 @9HFP46JIndependent from Ohio  answered…2yrs2Y

only those who are at the lower end of the financial scale are at a disadvantage, weather or not the majority of these people identify with a certain race in irrelevant

Would you trust the market to set fair prices for the goods you need every day, or do you worry about potential exploitation?

 @9H3SG8R from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

There has been some kind of an ideological excess: namely, market fundamentalism for the last 25 or so years

 @9H3ST3Dfrom Virgin Islands  answered…3yrs3Y

A market based economy seems to be the most functional economic system for a country, but it has drawbacks.

 @9H3SYBS  from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

Large corporations don’t have the intent to create “fair” prices. Most corporations price gouge to “maximize profits and minimize costs” which is also a “Fundamental Market”ing strategy.

How would you feel about private companies completely handling the management of natural resources without government oversight?

 @9HFP277Independent from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

I believe the companies should have government insight just so they have been checked with and the government knows what it's being used for so that there is no harm towards that country.

 @9HFMV4XIndependent from Idaho  answered…2yrs2Y

The Free-market should determine where and what resources go to from the needs of consumers

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3yrs3Y

Does the concept of 'survival of the fittest' in a free market align with your personal values about community support?

 @9H9BYS6 from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

It, although seeming promising, ignores how humans have a tendency toward greed, which makes it likely that zero community support would happen due to monopolies basically removing all support for any programs that do not make a profit.

 @9H98HJF from Alaska  answered…3yrs3Y

No because sometimes people are victims of their circumstances, such as being born poor

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3yrs3Y

If businesses are left completely unregulated, do you think they will act in the public's best interest or just their own?

 @9H3NVC5answered…3yrs3Y

The would most likely act in the public interest because they would want to try and catch the publics eye for attention.

 @9H3NBF3Independent from Nebraska  answered…3yrs3Y

I feel companies try to increase profits and only have to act in the public's interest due to regulations

How would your perception of entrepreneurship change if starting a business meant no safety nets?

 @9LHW664Peace and Freedom from Utah  answered…2yrs2Y

When was the last time you celebrated buying something at a great price and later wondered about the true cost of that deal?

 @9LCLYNP from Pennsylvania  answered…2yrs2Y

I bought a necklace at a thrift store, a black string like chain (so not metal) with a cross that looked like it was made of bones. It came up to be about 7 dollars, which I think is too much for a necklace that isn't extravogant, especially at a thrift store where you could get a full outfit for less than that.

How might your personal relationships be shaped in a society where even acts of kindness are influenced by the laws of the market?

 @9KYYHFK from Illinois  answered…2yrs2Y

Relationships could be seen as less valued since they could be just to keep the market going or to improve ones place in the market

 @9KYYCB3Peace and Freedomanswered…2yrs2Y

I think my personal relationships would get better and i think kindness will go a long way for a lot of people.

In a fully market-driven society, do you think the importance of creativity would increase, decrease, or stay the same, and why?

 @9KYY88F  from California  answered…2yrs2Y

i think that the hitbox increase needs to be reverted, and instead more focus needs to be done on reducing the power creep and competitive viability driven by 5v5, and potentially look into shifting the balances of role queue with the reimplementation of 6v6

 @9KYY5TJ from Connecticut  answered…2yrs2Y

I think creativity would decrease beacause people arent allowed to make what they want to

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

What does 'fair trade' mean to you in the context of a completely free market?

 @9L6YNVQIndependent from North Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

I think that a free market is not possible only because greed takes control of people and when you have the ability to do something to gain you massive amounts of money you will. I think there has to be some limits on certain things that can be sold or traded if they are necessity's. Like insulin, but not something like a car.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

If society operated on pure market competition, what kind of safety measures do you think would naturally emerge, if any?

 @9KYXN55 from Massachusetts  answered…2yrs2Y

i think the safety measures would be to have a cop,or multiple cops there and making sure nothing bad happens,and just in case have some type of medical on stand by.

 @9KYX7HX from California  answered…2yrs2Y

In a society driven by pure market competition, safety measures would likely emerge in response to consumer demand for products and services that prioritize safety, as businesses would compete to attract customers by ensuring the safety and reliability of their offerings. However, the extent and effectiveness of these safety measures would vary depending on factors such as market transparency, regulatory environment, and consumer awareness.

Would the potential risk or reward of an unregulated job market make you more or less likely to pursue entrepreneurial ventures?

 @9KYXZJZ from Massachusetts  answered…2yrs2Y

I think an unregulated job market would make it a little more competitive in trying to get jobs. How that might effect the lives of the workers themselves I'm not sure. I do think that it might make it a bit more difficult to hire workers for a job.

 @9KYXW8LDemocrat from North Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

An unregulated market would make me more likely to pursue entrepreneurial ventures because it could be a lot more lucrative seeing as it would be much easier to screw people over just to make more money.

 @9KH53FV from Iowa  answered…2yrs2Y
