Sorry, you're right, that was actually an old statistic. A recent one is actually higher: "More than 99.9% of peer-reviewed scientific papers agree that climate change is mainly caused by humans, according to a new survey of 88,125 climate-related studies. The research updates a similar 2013 paper revealing that 97% of studies published between 1991 and 2012 supported the idea that human activities are altering Earth’s climate. The current survey examines the literature published from 2012 to November 2020 to explore whether the consensus has changed. (https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/1748-9326/ac2966)"

But sure, keep believing the oil executives you hear on Fox News or whatever instead...

So what is the total temp increase since 1880?

  @VulcanMan6  from Kansas commented…8mos8MO

According to the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions, from a simple google search: "The world is undoubtedly warming. The Earth's average surface temperature has increased by about 1.8°F (1.0°C) since the late 1800s. (https://www.c2es.org/content/changes-in-climate/#:~:text=The%20world%20is%20undoubtedly%20warming,C)%20since%20the%20late%201800s.)". From multiple studies, the average global temperature has increased anywhere from 1.1-1.8°F depending on where in the 1800s you begin.

Again, these are the same conclusions from multiple independent studies, as that is how reputable science works.

“According to an ongoing temperature analysis led by scientists at NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), the average global temperature on Earth has increased by at least 1.1° Celsius (1.9° Fahrenheit) since 1880. The majority of the warming has occurred since 1975, at a rate of roughly 0.15 to 0.20°C per decade.”
