Should the government increase environmental regulations to prevent climate change?
You have no basis for that statistic. It's just what a zealot would say.
A recent one is actually higher: "More than 99.9% of peer-reviewed scientific papers agree that climate change is mainly caused by humans, according to a new survey of 88,125 climate-related studies. The research updates a similar 2013 paper revealing that 97% of studies published between 1991 and 2012 supported the idea that human activities are altering Earth’s climate. The current survey examines the literature published from 2012 to November 2020 to explore whether the consensus has changed. (https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/1748-9326/ac2966)"
But sure, keep believing the oil executives you hear on Fox News or whatever instead...

So what is the total temp increase since 1880?
@VulcanMan6 8mos8MO
According to the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions, from a simple google search: "The world is undoubtedly warming. The Earth's average surface temperature has increased by about 1.8°F (1.0°C) since the late 1800s. (https://www.c2es.org/content/changes-in-climate/#:~:text=The%20world%20is%20undoubtedly%20warming,C)%20since%20the%20late%201800s.)". From multiple studies, the average global temperature has increased anywhere from 1.1-1.8°F depending on where in the 1800s you begin.
Again, these are the same conclusions from multiple independent studies, as that is how reputable science works.
