Life imprisonment in prisons that just really suck, no parole at all. They should stay alive; but when committing horrible crimes, they don’t deserve comfort or after a while, much social contact.

According to the Innocence Project, DNA evidence has led to the exoneration of hundreds of people who were wrongfully convicted, some of whom were on death row. This indicates that even with these mechanisms, errors can and do occur.
