The Florida lawmaker has threatened to force a vote on booting McCarthy from leadership for weeks, promising to follow through if McCarthy worked with Democrats to avert a government shutdown. McCarthy did so on Saturday, after a group of hard–right Republicans led by Gaetz tanked McCarthy’s efforts to pass legislation that would prevent a government shutdown on Friday.
McCarthy said he isn’t worried.
“I’ll survive,” he said Sunday during an interview on CBS’s “Face the Nation.” “So be it, bring it on, let's get over with it and let's start governing."
McCarthy added, "If he's upset because he tried to push us in a shutdown and I made sure government didn't shut down, then let's have the fight.” He said Gaetz is “more interested in securing TV interviews than doing something.”

Wait, they kept the government open but didn’t give money to Ukraine? Thats a plus. They didn’t give money to secure the boarder, that’s a telling sign of the truth of the situation. They support giving one’s to foreign governments but not to secure our boarder. Did McCarthy really let us down or did he just keep the government open and compromise on the two largest earmarked money in the budget? Compromise is politics. Let see where the chips fall before judging. Not happy about the boarder but am happy they kept the government open for the people.
Keep up, Ukraine still receiving money, because if they don’t a bigger war is coming.. and it China invading Taiwan, with Russia on the march after Ukraine to other border countries, wake up and see the real world..

I hope so...you will get more respect if you do what you say....McCarthy needs to go as soon as possible...we do not need a rino as speaker...we had that with Paul Ryan..and we saw how well that worked out...
