While Putin does his best to destabilize the Middle East. Trump will do his best to destabilize the entire West.
NATO is the only thing that has kept the West safe from invasion since it’s implementation in 1949.
It has been the main thing that has kept pretty much every country in Europe from having a substantial nuclear stockpile. It has actually been highly beneficial to the United States as it keeps Europe relatively open to us economically. Without it things go bad fast.

I know very little I just have an interesting contact who tells me things like China overstated their working age population by 100,000,000 so the demographic crisis has already started meaning knock on effect on the global economy & so also less keen to sub junior partner Putin.
Net beneficiary of all this is China. For the time being anyway.

They sure are. It's been claimed they're moving away from antagonistic Wolf Warrior to something more diplomatic and professional.
They have come somewhat near huge uprising at times the last year or two with previously unheard of mass protests too.
