The child is a separate life entitled to its own right to life. The only point where a child should be killed is when the pregnancy actively endangers either of the people involved.

No one has the right to use another person's body without their consent, including babies, so it does NOT have any right to be there using its mother's body in the first place. If she doesn't want the baby there then she has every right to get rid of it. It has no rights until it is on its own.
