If you knew your favorite products were made ethically and workers were paid fairly, would you mind paying more?
Yeah I would, but we should try to keep it as inexpensive as possible so people are able to afford it.

I wouldn't mind paying more if I knew the money was going to the people who make the product first, then going to pay for the rest of the business. However, I don't think this would require paying more, just that businesses prioritize paying the right people.
