The George Floyd riots weren't peaceful protests. They were dangerous, and should've been stopped. Just because you support a cause, doesn't mean you should burn down Targets and kill people.

A majority of protests in response to George Floyd's killing were nonviolent, and within the majority of the protests turned violent, the violence itself was instigated by the police.

What happened to George Floyd was an outrage and it should never have happened in the first place. It was their right to protest, and I believe the protests were mostly peaceful. Some media outlets skewed the intentions of the protest to make the protesters look like the bad guys.
