They lack the ability to try and walk in someone else's shoes to see what their life is like. They also apparently don't understand history.

American history is extremely white washed. Also, from personal experience some white people I've spoken to have literally denied certain historical events which drastically affected people of color negatively and still affect those minority groups today.
