What's a time you've had to compromise with friends or family, and how did it make you feel?

I have faught with my steps moms family many times because of their loving trump, and I tried to be understanding, I wouldn't say it was fighting but they weren't saying the whole truth in a factrul way, I felt great after for knowing what I know and able to try to understand the other side but knowing that I was the most correct with the full truth on every closing sentence, It kinda made me mad on how stupid some people are and close-minded they are.
