If an ordinary citizen were in a similar legal situation as Trump, do you think they would receive the same financial leniency from the court?

I feel the allegations against Trump are heavily politically motivated, though many of which are correct, it's undeniable that political gain is at least partially involved in the reasoning for seeking justice against Trump and his associates.

 @9L4VGKTDemocrat from California commented…1mo1MO

I don't think it would be the same between an ordinary citizen and Trump.

 @9L4VBWB from Washington commented…1mo1MO

I believe most people that are important enough to have his kind of money would see very similar treatment

Should personal wealth influence the amount one has to pay for a bond while appealing a court decision, and what are your reasons for your stance?

 @9L4TBPL from Mississippi commented…1mo1MO

giving a millionaire a bond of for example 1k for is like that person dropping a quarter on the ground and walking away

 @9L4T6LXJustice party member from Arizona commented…1mo1MO

Personal wealth should be a decider on how much you pay for a bail, however if someone has a high net worth they shouldn't get a high leeway for the amount they have to pay. It should also depend on the severity of the crime.

 @9L4SQ62 from Texas commented…1mo1MO

Personal wealth should not influence the amount one has to pay for bond.

 @9L4SKLV from Illinois commented…1mo1MO

I think personal wealth should be looked at because bonds are set in place to keep you in jail and not give you a easy way out

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1mo1MO

How do you feel about Trump only having to pay $175 million instead of the full $454 million while his appeal is pending?

 @9L4SMD2 from California commented…1mo1MO

I think the whole trial and case is election interference and a complete sham.

 @9L4QLQY from Missouri commented…1mo1MO

I think this is a fair ruling. The original bond was way too much by any historical estimation.

 @Ind3p3ndentAbaloneRepublican from Maryland commented…1mo1MO

Still a complete scam but this is good news.

When still being forced to pay 9 figures despite there not being an injured party is viewed as a victory, that says a lot about the extremism that is pervasive in Democrat-run cities.

He brazenly lied on his financial statements for years. Valuing his property as though it was 3x larger than actual size, as though he had planning permission he didn’t have, as though it was residential when it wasn’t, as though it had no rent stabilization when it did.

 @IntuitiveBustardPeace and Freedomfrom New Jersey commented…1mo1MO

It’s still unfairly high, but the Libs heads will explode because fairness and logic finally edged out their lawfare a little.

 @SnipeBrandonDemocrat from Pennsylvania agreed…1mo1MO

Wrong. He brazenly lied on his financial statements for years. Valuing his property as though it was 3x larger than actual size, as though he had planning permission he didn’t have, as though it was residential when it wasn’t, as though it had no rent stabilization when it did.

People can hate Donald Trump all they want.

He is definitely flawed.

But his ascension woke a lot of people up to what actually goes on in politics.

Populism is political disinfectant.

And right now America needs a really deep clean...
