giving a millionaire a bond of for example 1k for is like that person dropping a quarter on the ground and walking away

Personal wealth should be a decider on how much you pay for a bail, however if someone has a high net worth they shouldn't get a high leeway for the amount they have to pay. It should also depend on the severity of the crime.

 @9L4SQ62 from Texas commented…2mos2MO

Personal wealth should not influence the amount one has to pay for bond.

 @9L4SKLV from Illinois commented…2mos2MO

I think personal wealth should be looked at because bonds are set in place to keep you in jail and not give you a easy way out

 @9L4S9K6 from Missouri commented…2mos2MO

I think all people no matter your wealth should have to face the same charges with the same treatment.

 @9L4S3DW from Nevada commented…2mos2MO

Your networth should not determine fines, this is analogous to excessive fines clause in the eighth amendment.

 @9L4RH4GRepublican from Pennsylvania commented…2mos2MO

I think that a person's bond should be set at the amount income that person makes so have the necessary time fight their case in court.

 @9L4RGYBIndependent from California commented…2mos2MO

If you do the crime, you should have to pay the fine and do the time for it. It should be the same for everyone.

 @9L4QGBZ from North Carolina commented…2mos2MO

The amount of wealth a person has shouldn't affect how much we pay for a bond for a court decision.

 @9L4PPXQ from Mississippi commented…2mos2MO

No, i think everyone should have to pay the same in the court system. It is a matter of breaking the law or not. Everyone should have access to the same resources without unfair treatment due to wealth

 @9L4PBF7Democrat from California commented…2mos2MO

Doing so would affect one who has to pay the bong more because sometimes a bond is too easy to pay for some people.

Two people committing the same crime should be fined the same charge. Money shouldn't be in the equation of law. A crime shows a person's intentions. Two people are the same when it comes to hurting people. That should be represented in the punishment. The person represents the punishment, not their finances. g

It leads people to say their actual beliefs instead of following an idol
