DeSantis was and is hardcore conservative with no concern for the rights of Women, minorities, the LGBT communities, immigrants and any other non-white-male dominated group. And yet, he got nearly 60% of the vote when re-elected. Florida, listen carefully, you get the leadership you deserve.

GOP voters have no ability to see beyond today, becoming the epitome of cutting off your nose to spite your face. They loved it when their dear leader slapped tariffs on China until they realized that it was doing nothing more than raising the prices they pay for everyday gods. They all supported the abortion bans because the only people that get abortions are “someone else.” They scream “Socialism!” when universal care is proposed and then they realize medical costs are bankrupting millions. Will they ever learn?
For me the thing with DeSantis is realizing and remembering how scared he actually is. He's scared of words, and he's scared of women and their freedoms. He's just scared. Someone less scared should take over by pointing out how scared he is and then actually leading.
