Lab-grown meat is produced by culturing animal cells and could serve as an alternative to traditional livestock farming. Proponents argue that it can reduce environmental impact and animal suffering, and improve food security. Opponents argue that it may face public resistance and unknown long-term health effects.

How would you feel about replacing traditional meat with lab-grown versions in your daily meals?
@9TSG5T81yr1Y
Personally, I prefer traditional meat. But, I would support lab grown meet in grocery stores for those who'd want it.
@9YFG8M911mos11MO
I am vegetarian. I see nothing wrong with Lab-Grown Meat, I see it as meat, and won't eat.
@62WJDGP 11mos11MO
I’m not against it. As long there have been long enough studies to show it doesn’t cause health problems or cancer.
@9WXKNGX 11mos11MO
I need my real beaf... But on a more serious note - the ethics of any logical extension og vegetarianism I am rather sceptical of.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
What concerns might you have about the long-term impact of consuming lab-grown meat compared to traditional meat?
@9TP9KF41yr1Y
We'll never really know what's in the lab grown meat or everything they do to it, and how these could impact long-term health
@9TPB93G1yr1Y
The health risks could possibly be worrisome for humans if there were some negative findings with lab grown meat.
@9TP868H1yr1Y
I believe in the science and think that it should be just fine. Provided tests are accurate and correct, and there are no harmful side effects, I am all for it.
@B55K6C25mos5MO
I think that's the point of doing the study. We really don't know what concerns to have. Should allow it because of free market, but we should also be studying it to see what the long-term impact it could potentially have on people.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
Considering potential health implications, would you prefer lab-grown meat over traditional if it was proven to be healthier? Why?
@9TSH4RJ1yr1Y
No, because of the taste and the vast nutrient density of the meat currently on the market.
@9TSHTQ71yr1Y
No, we should not use lab grown meat because they could have products that wouldn't be healthy for anyone
@@1876-Elbert11mos11MO
No
I'm a rancher. We need money, otherwise we'll struggle even more that we already are.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
Can you imagine a future where farming animals for food is considered unethical due to the availability of lab-grown meat?
@9TT8L3C1yr1Y
I can imagine that future but I don't think it will get to that point.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
What do you think are the biggest challenges in getting people to accept and consume lab-grown meat regularly?
@9TGNV8W 1yr1Y
There is already so many fake foods, that it would be hard to make someone eat something other than real meal.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
How do you think the introduction of lab-grown meat will affect rural communities whose economies are based on traditional livestock farming?
@9TH47RC1yr1Y
I think it can be a good option and would help reduce animal cruelty, however I'm worried about people's jobs
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
If lab-grown meat becomes cheaper than conventional meat, do you think people should be encouraged or even required to switch? Why or why not?
@9TT6ZH71yr1Y
People can be encouraged to switch but one will be significantly healthier than the other. If lab grown meat happens to be healthier than people should be encouraged to switch. I think that some people are going to disagree fully into what is right and wrong about this. Personally, I do not have the education to elaborate more.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
How important is it for lab-grown meat to taste and look exactly like traditional meat for it to be widely accepted?
@9TJDZBM1yr1Y
Most people won't eat it if it isn't like traditional meat, I think it matters more to find the best way for the environment while still eating healthy food
