“Love is love? No it’s not, read the Bible or walk away from God.”

Ah yes, the classic “agree with me or abandon your faith” argument. Very compelling. Almost like the Bible also warns against self-righteousness, judging others, and using faith to control people… but let’s not get bogged down in those inconvenient little details, right?

“God supports freedom of other religions but does not support selfness for love.”

First of all, I’d love to know what “selfness” is. Is it a theological concept I missed? A new Pokémon? Either way, the idea that God supports freedom except when it comes to love is quite the contradiction. It’s almost like you’re inventing loopholes to justify your personal discomfort rather than, I don’t know, actually following the core message of your own religion.

“Back then it was normal, now we live in a clown world.”

Oh, you mean back when slavery was legal? When women couldn’t vote? When people thought diseases were caused by bad air? Yeah, what a utopia that was. But sure, tell me more about how the decline of forced heterosexuality is what ruined society.

“Why didn’t we like homosexuality back then? Because most religions said it was evil.”

Oh, so we should blindly follow what religious authorities said centuries ago? That’s great news for anyone who enjoys burning witches, banning science, and stoning people for minor infractions. Clearly, progress is the enemy!

“Pornography, lust, homosexuality were all illegal and it was a more perfect world back then.”

A more perfect world? You mean when corrupt religious leaders controlled governments, people were executed for blasphemy, and human rights were barely a concept? Yeah, buddy, that doesn’t sound like a utopia...that sounds like a historical horror movie.

“You can yell at me but I forgive you like how Jesus forgave sinners.”

Ah, the preemptive martyr complex. Nothing says “I have a strong, rational argument” like acting like a victim before anyone even responds. Also, forgiveness isn’t a get-out-of-jail-free card for condescending nonsense.

Look, here’s the reality: nobody is forcing you into a same-sex marriage. Nobody is demanding that you personally endorse it. Legalizing it just means other people get to make their own choices...just like you claim God supports religious freedom. The real clown world is thinking that your personal discomfort should dictate other people’s rights.

So instead of pretending you’re the moral authority of the universe, maybe consider that forcing your outdated worldview on others is exactly the opposite of the freedom you claim to believe in.
