It’s another to use those beliefs as a weapon to shame people for something that harms no one. You should be ashamed, not for holding beliefs, but for weaponizing them to justify cruelty. It is people like you that are the reason that people stay closeted. You’re the reason kids hate themselves. You’re the reason this world isn’t as safe as it should be. And the fact that you’re proud of that is absolutely disgusting. So no, you don’t get to cloak your bigotry in “beliefs” and call it bravery. You don’t get to strip people of their dignity and pretend it’s about truth. Love is not up for debate. Identity is not a threat. If you truly care about values, then start by respecting the dignity and freedom of every individual, even the ones you don’t understand. If you believe in freedom, then you need to believe in it for everyone, not just the people who look, think, and love like you do. Anything less is hypocrisy, not principle.
