Due to the disparity (the extra two votes added), people from Wyoming have 1 vote per 192,000 people, whereas in California, they have 1 vote per 731,481 people. Not very fair is it? Now get this, due to this same disparity, you could win the US election with only 22% of the popular vote.

It helps the little states like Arkansas have a voice in the country; other wise L.A. and New York would run the country.

I disagree, as every persons vote should be the same, otherwise it's not true democracy. If we removed the electoral college system, things like this wouldn't be an issue, where instead of Arkansas voting it's the people, it's not the land but us, and every person gets the same vote. It's then just about representation and getting more parties to actually be in the system. No longer would it be little state vs big state. Just people voting
